Breakfast With Tiffaney!!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Ours was restful and relaxing thankfully. We got most of our Christmas shopping done and now I gotta wrap 'em all up! Hubby and I always have a marathon movie night w/ snacks and wrap up all the presents--we've done that since both of our kids were born, always fun! Speaking of gifts.....

Well I've got a gift for you today! This is my last BLOG CANDY of 2008 for ya and it's YUMMY! These Rubber Romance stamps that Susana of Susana's Custom Art & Card Design got for me to give away are awesome & they're signed by the illustrator/owner Robin Ireland to boot! Check out Susana's store for more Rubber Romance goodies!

You can enter for my BLOG CANDY until Sunday (12/14) at 11 pm (EST) by leaving an answer to this question on THIS POST ONLY--"What was your favorite Christmas gift & why?". You will recieve these 2 stamps and a card made by Robin Ireland herself and maybe I'll wrap it in my FAVORITE zebra print tissue paper for ya, lol!

Susana also has some yummy Rubber Romance WEB CANDY over on her store site too so make sure to check it out and enter for hers too!

In honor of my yummy blog candy I decided to use one of my most favorite Rubber Romance stamps with Audrey Hepburn on it called "Colazionne da-Tiffaney". Rubber Romance makes a great selection of Paris themed movie poster stamps & I lovee them!! Not too difficult of a card to put together, just lotsa layers! The image was stamped on Vintage Cream cs from Paper Trey Ink and I lightly colored some areas with my Copics. On her dress I used black stickles for both shine & sparkle. The dp is from Imaginisce and cs is SU. I also used white opal liquid pearls on her pearl necklace for dimension. Do you likee?

I also wanted to introduce the new Design Team members who are joining me for Susana's Custom Art & Card Design store--Congratulations ladies! Make sure and visit them to see their lovely creations too today!

-Lynn Put of The Queen's Scene
-Susan Dube (guest designer) of Stamping Tink
-Danni Bindel (guest designer) of Danni's Dreams
-Christine Riley (guest designer) Stampyn Wife's Space
-Anki Bargman of Kortfralst

And if you're not in the Christmas spirit yet, you will be when you watch this video!! I first saw it on Cindy Lawrence's blog and had to put it up--make sure and watch to the end! Enjoy!

Have a great day everyone & I'll see ya back here tomorrow!

Those are so cute! And I LOVE that Audrey Hepburn stamp-she's my favorite. My favorte Christmas gift was last year from my hubby. He had a HUGE box, and when I opened it, it was full of money! ($1 bills of course!) This was when Recollections was closing, and he knew that all I wanted was to go shop. ;) But at the bottom of the box o' money was another box, and inside was a beautiful pink sapphire and diamond necklace. We had just found out we were expecting baby #2, and we had pinpointed our due date to September, whose birthstone is a sapphire, and our 2 year olds birthstone is a diamond. So that was by far my favorite gift!!

Becky said...

P.S. I took all of my $1s to Recollections, because I never got to go to the bank, and I think they thought I was a stripper or something. ;) So I will never, ever forget that Christmas!

Wow, amazing cards, really really cute!

My favorite christmas gift was when my dad gave me a 2nd dog. I had been so sad that my dog didnt have a friend, and i knew he would feel better if he had a friend. The day before christmas my dad gave me my 2nd chihuahua dog. Really a jolly jolly day!!! :D

You can see a pic of them here: http://neliz.se/afoto/godjulspikemandos.jpg

My daughter was almost a birthday/Christmas gift...born between the two on 12/15 - will be 18 this year. Eek!

My favorite Christmas gift was two years ago from my husband. He gave me my cricut. He hates shopping for scrapbooking supplies but went out and got that. He didn't put it under the tree but made me think that he didn't get it for me. He hid it in the basement and I had to find it.

Thanks for the chance to win. Love the Audrey card as well.

It's going to be a blast!

My favorite Christmas gift....I would have to say when my Mom got the whole family tickets to see the Rockettes, and it wasn't just for my family it was for my boyfriends as well. We all went together and had a great day in the city and even got to see a show out of it. What a wonderful gift!

My favorite Christmas gift was a few years when my Navy son surprised me by showing up at my office (he lived in Washington DC and I lived in Phoenix). He and my husband had the whole Christmas weekend planned with dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and tickets to "The Christmas Carol" at the Herberger Theater in Phx. All that and he said he wouldn't be able to be home for Christmas!

My favorite Christmas gift...let's see, I would say it was the year that all 3 of my girls pooled their money and took a group picture. I didn't even know it was happening! It's one of my favorite gifts ever!

I can't wait to order these stamps, Audrey Hepburn is one of my all time favorite actresses!

My favorite Christmas gift was a pair of speed skates when I was a teenager. I was really into rollerskating and I wanted my own pair so badly. I begged and begged for two years for those skates! I still have them to this day! Although I haven't been rollerskating since my daughter turned 6 and she's 18 now! LOL

I'd love to win your blog candy!! Thanks for the chance!

what great looking stamps! Well, I don't think that I have a favourite, but....quite by accident I saw what looked like my Christmas present from Mum and Dad this year!! It was silly - Mum was opening her birthday gifts on Sunday - including several envelopes that came in the mail...one of them turned out to contain Nestabilities!!!! (Mum's shopping not her presents!!) I had asked Mum for some of those and it looks like I am getting some this year - quite which set I don't know - but this could well be my favourite Christmas present - ha ha!!

I LOVE the Blog candy and especially that stamp! The card is cute too. My Christmas gift was when all of my family was alive and together and not ill with each other. This only happened a couple of times and it was really nice. My grandparents and greatgrandparents were there, as well as my brother who doesn't come often. I wish it could be that way every year.

What wonderful stamps!

My favorite was the "Laurie Walker Doll". She was about 3 feet tall and if you held her hand and walked SUPER slowly she would sort of move her legs with you and 'walk' along side. My poor father walked all over downtown Salt Lake City with me and that doll the next summer on vacation.

My favorite Christmas gift was the year I think I might have been 14 yrs old and my sister sent me and my twin each a blow dryer. They had just come out and we usually didn't get large Christmas presents and in our minds this was HUGE. We couldn't believe someone spent that much money on something that all the other kids were getting and we didn't think we'd ever have. It was very special.

One of my favorite gifts was my cricut from my hubby 2 years ago and then last year my canon powershot. He knows what makes me happy!!!
But I think my most memorable gift was when I was abt 5 and I received a Barbie dreamhouse (with my twin sister) from my family. Something they couldn't afford and it was an extravagant gift for 2 little girls on an Alberta farm 35 years ago!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Hepburn stamp!!! My Favourite christmas Gift was from a few years ago, my mom bought me a Christmas Tree Ornament of a dalmation holding a sign that says "Super Daughter" on it. My mother and I have issues with showing our feelings to each other, we never really have had a true mother-daughter moment until she got me the ornament.

Hmmmm, my favorite Christmas gift, not to sound odd or anything, was to survive Christmas! My husband and I, along w/our two boys were headed to visit family. Our SUV (according to the witness) lost a wheel and 'rolled over' 8-10 times. Kids were fine. Husband was purple head to toe w/road rash. I was the worst injured w/serious head trauma. I survived and was astounded with the wonderful family and friends that I had that came to our aid in our time of need. So, even though it was unfortunate, it was just a reminder of what is REALLY important!

Thank you for this great opportunity!

I have two memorable Christmas presents: when I was a teen, I got my violine (I still play it), but I don't remember the year. And just before christmas 2001 I found out I was expecting my 2nd baby. That was a bit of a problem around Christmas time because I couldn't eat anything sweet, I had nausea all the time ... Bye, Kitty

My favorite Christmas present was the 110 camera my parents gave me when I was 10 years old. It has long since been retired and replaced with better models, but it was responsible for my love of photography.

Beautiful card Suzanne!

My favourite Christmas was when I was 12. My brother and I slept in the same room that night because my aunt and uncle came for Chrsitmas. In the morning when we were opening our gifts, my brother got the usual ones from Santa, mom and dad, granny. I had only had one from Granny and was thinking I must have been bad. Just before breakfast mom asked me to get something out of my room for my aunt. I went in and "SURPRISE" my whole room had been painted and decorated. I had a new bed, dresser, make-up table, new curtains, bedspread. It looked like a teenagers room!! I was thrilled. My parents and aunt and uncle had stayed up the whole night long, painting, sewing and putting it all together for me!!!
That was the greatest Christmas gift ever.

Thank you for this opportunity for your wonderful blog candy.

Love the Audrey card, Suzanne. What a looker! I don't really have fave Christmas gift. But one memorable one was from my Mom. She's "crafty" in a different way -you name it, she can crochet it. Last year, I'd been commenting about how cold it was getting for me in the morning (My commute train leaves at 6:56 am) and how I needed winter accessories - in California! So for Christmas, I opened up my gifts, and lo & behold - a beautiful [air of jewel-toned purple (a fave) soft chenille indoor socks, and matching hardy outdoor gloves and hat. So I could be warm and fashionable! See, some people really do want socks for Christmas!

I love the Hepburn card! Beautiful and classy!
My favorite Christmas present is one that I gave, not rcvd. This year my 10 year old son wanted to help some other kids have a nice Christmas. He picked 2 kids to adopt from the angel tree and we had a blast filling up 2 garbage bags full of presents for those kids. Even my 19 year old son went shopping for them when he heard that we had picked them. What a feeling of pride I had that both of my sons were so selfless and caring. We took those presents in on Wednesday of this week. My 10 year old just beamed with smiles as we carried those bags into the mall to drop them off. I feel so good this Chrismas about what we have done. So my best Christmas present was to help a few people who have less than we do and most of all to know that I have raised 2 very caring and very loving boys in this world that doesn't have as much of that as it use to.
