Here Comes Peter Cottontail....!!!!

Hiya & Happy Tuesday friends!! Hope your week is off to a swell start so far! I am knee deep in preparations to leave for Hilton Head & my head is spinning. I'm not really good at this spontaneous, last minute planning stuff--messes w/ my head, LOL! I have to take the kids shopping this afternoon to get swimsuits & shorts (cuz nothing from last year fits of course) and my daughter INSISTS she needs a haircut before we leave on Wed! ACKKKKK! Not to mention finishing laundry, setting up a cat-sitter (friend of mine) & getting everything ready to go----sometimes I think its easier to NOT go on vacation, hee hee! Anywhoooo.....

Just to tease ya'll a little, Susana threw a huge party at her store site on PCP last nite and guess who was the secret guest? Elisabeth Bell the fabulous illustrator, no less :o)!!!! Sorry to tease, but we only released invites to those who are members at the PCP site, so guess you need to go join now so you won't miss any more BIG THINGS TO COME!! It was fun, and you can go read all the questions & answers in the discussion area right HERE! She's just as lovely & charming as her illustrations--I really enjoyed getting to know her just a bit!!!

So today is "Try It Out Tuesday" for Susana's Custom Art & Card Design store blog--"Follow Your Heart"! I challenged the DT to make a fun Easter card/project this week since Easter is this weekend!! I decided to create these fun Place Settings for your table. I used Lockhart's "IB Birds" stamp for the front of my card/place setting. I used my new Nestabilitie's Labels 4 (aren't they fab) to create my card--such an elegant shape!

The lil' favor/treat box for each seat was made with clear cylinder boxes (I order them in bulk from Clearbags.com)--I cut them in half so they would be smaller and filled them with some Easter grass & chocolate M&M eggs (YUM)! I just wrapped some coordinating cs & dp around them and added a ribbon handle to each! Easy to make, so this would be a great project if you had multiples to do!

The dp is from My Minds Eye and the lil' image is colored w/ my Copics & accented with Diamond Stickles! Such a fun, spring-like image to use! These will be so pretty at everyone's place at the dinner table for Easter!

See ya back here on Thursday! I have some projects already done up & pre-posted for ya while I'm gone!

hugz,

Suzanne
