Summer Notes Blog Hop!! Oh My Stars!!

Hello & Happy Friday friends!! Yay--its the weekend again! The weather is actually supposed to clear up & be sunny & in the 80's this weekend---great weather for a Pool Party & Pig Roast! I'm going to try & be outside as much as I can, but I've got sooo much work & sooo many projects to get done before I go away on the 20th, so that there will be some posts up while I'm gone for ya! Alrighty then let's move on to the Magnolia-licious DT BLOG HOP!!

Welcome to the Magnolia-licious Blog Hop which is called "Summer Notes"! I am the START of the blog hop and at the end of this post is the link to the next DT gal on the HOP--so make sure and hop all the way to the end! All Blog Hop Details and info on how you can play along & win prizes are on the Magnolia-licious HighLites blog!

So the DT was challenged to make a "Post-It Note Holder & Gift Box" in a summertime theme. You can find a tutorial and instructions (by Bridgett Owens ) on the Mag Highlites blog HERE.

I chose to make a Patriotic 4th of July themed project with this fabulous "Sailor Tilda"--this was in stock at Magnolia-licious but I can't find it now, so if you love it & want it let Diana know & perhaps she can get more in! But there are a ton of cute summertime stamps IN STOCK at Magnolia-licious for you to choose from! My dp is by Melissa Frances and the cs is PTI's "pure poppy". The actual post-it notes are inside a little covered chipboard cover--I decorated with a frame & some more stars. (If you don't have chipboard, use coasters or an med. density cardboard like what comes in the SU dp packs)

Close-up of the Post-It Note holder box which I decorated with some fun elements including a fun star tag tied on with Scrappers Floss. Because this Tilda has her hands in a position to hold something--I printed out the "Notes" sentiment & made a lil' sign for her to hold. I love the way the stars peek out the top of the box from the actual post-it notes. I wrapped this fabulous Offray ribbon around the sides of the box to make a fun handle too!

I made a coordinating card so this would be a fabulous gift for someone! I just love it--will be hard to part with, LOL! But you could actually win this project along with some of the DT's projects if you hop along & then head over to the Magnolia-licious HighLites blog to see how!! To WIN this project by me, just leave a comment by Tuesday, June 9th on this post, and I will pick a random winner to win this set!!

A close-up of cutie Sailor Tilda--I used Diamond Glaze to make her shoes shiny and added some stickles to her outfit. And yes, I spritzed the ENTIRE card (not the image) and the Post-It Note Holder & box with my new fave Shimmerz Spritz (baby's breath)--gives it such a fun & soft shimmer!

Okay so now you need to HOP on over to Suzy's blog HERE to follow along on the Blog Hop!! And when you're done hopping, make sure to stop by the Magnolia-licious HighLites blog to get all the details on how to join in & WIN!! Have fun & be inspired!

**Don't forget to stop by tomorrow to enter for my 200,000 hits BLOG CANDY too--its a good one!!**

hugz & have a great Friday,

Suzanne

French Country Vintage!!

Happy Friday everyone and Yay to the Holiday 3-day weekend (for those in the US)!! Still not sure what we're going to be up to, but my son informs me that he IS going fishing, hee hee! We got a new firepit & I see some marshmallow roasting in our future! I'm just looking forward to a 3-day weekend to relax and not run around alot!! I'll have a post up tomorrow, but then nothing until Tuesday since most of you will be away & relaxin' yourselves!!

**I have a few spots left open in my Copic Coloring/Technique class on June 14th for anyone who might be interested close to the Northern VA area! Just email me & I can give you more details & the cost.**

Okay, over the many years of crafting I've made millions of projects but I have to say that today's goes down as my "MOST FAVORITE" and there is hardly any copic coloring (gasp)!! I just adore how this turned out & its so "me"-my favorite colors & very french country (the rooms in my house are all these colors)!! It was also super fun to put together & make :o) And this Vintage Apron by Lockhart reminds me of an apron my mom used to wear growing up (although she doesn't wear them anymore)--I just love it! I'm thinking of making a recipe box with these papers for my own kitchen, hmmmm....!

The dp is from my new stash of Graphic 45 papers which I just adore--I knew when I saw them at CHA this past January that I would HAVE to have them, LOL! You can get the paper and this fun wine/cookie cylinder at Emma's Paperie (love that store)!! If you really, really love this and want to buy it, I might be able to give it up, hee hee!! (email me)

The card uses this week's Mojo Monday sketch #87 and I used Lockhart's new "Vintage Apron"--which I had so much fun paper piecing! I made my sentiment tag with my Nestabilities Labels 4 (love that shape) and distressed all the papers with my Inkssentials blending tool! And I had to add some fun Kaiser pearls to the apron & card to finish it off!

I wrapped the cylinder with my paper and took out the rope-like string that was in it & replaced it with this beautiful ribbon that I got free from Emma's for placing my order--it looks so pretty! I added another tag which uses the PTI's "Mega Mixed Messages" sentiment. These cylinders come in packs of 2 for only $3.59(a large & small)--I used the small size and you could fill it with all sorts of goodies! The large would hold a wine bottle.

So let me know what you think of this project today--you likee? I'll be back tomorrow with a last post until Tuesday! Hope you all enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!!

hugz,

Suzanne

Groovy Flower Girl!!

Happy TGI Friday everyone!! Aren't ya happy its the weekend---wahooooo! I sure am--5 workouts under my belt, no soda & no junk food in my system & I SURVIVED, LOL! We're going out to dinner tonight with friends & I'm going to try and be good, but I gotta have 1 glass of wine, I mean come on!!! I also have my Copic class on Sunday which will be fun! If you are interested in taking one of my Copic/Card classes and are able to come to the Northern VA area--I will be having another class on June 14 (1-4) and would love to have ya!! Anywhoooo, moving on to an EXCITING new Stamp RELEASE TODAY!!!!!

Introducing Victoria Case Stamps Exclusively for SCACD and the 9 new stamps are the "Hearts & Hugs Collection"
Also the DT's BLOG HOP too!!

So today I'm using "Alexa" from this new collection and a "Susanament" sentiment(this "groovy" sentiment was my idea & sentiments were created by Susana)--these new stamps by Victoria Case are exclusive to Susana's Custom Art & Card Design!!! And yes she is named after my daughter who loves everything "peace & eco-friendly" right now, lol! Isn't she the cutest and she was sooooo fun to color too! There are 9 new image stamps released today and a set of sentiments called "Susanaments" (10 sentiments in a set for $12). All of the stamps in this collection are to die-for--you will LOVE them!! (And that cutie-licious blinkie above was created by the oh-so talented Jami Bova of Stamp Happy with Sgt. Stamper!)

I used some of my brand spankin' new My Mind's Eye dp called "Pretty Please"--love the patterns & colors in this new collection! I colored my image with Copics and then added stickles to the flowers, her sandals & belt for lots of shimmer---she's a modern gal ya' know?? The flowers are all Primas from the Wildflower collection.

This card was also made for today's challenge on the Copic Creations Blog--the challenge is "blonde hair". Make sure and stop by the Challenge Blog to see the DT's lovely creations and variations on blonde hair & enter your own creation to win a great prize by Magnolia-licious!! For my blonde hair I used E99, E35, & Y21!!

Close up of this lil' cutie-pop! I just love her and all the beautiful flowers!!

I had to make my "groovy" girl a groovy purse--every girl needs a pretty purse!! I bought some of these awesome little purses from Emma's Paperie--they come in different colors for only $1.59 each. I liked the clear so I could gussy it up a bit with my pattern paper and I covered the snap with some fun Primas. Finished off with some ribbon and a die-cut tag from the MME's paper pack "Pretty Please". This would be a fabby gift for a girl in your life--the purse could fit lots of goodies inside (jewelry, candy, makeup,etc.). GROOVIE-LICIOUS!!

Now for the Blog Hop!!
Susana's DT has a fantastic line-up for you today--everyone used a different stamp for their projects so you get to see them in all their glory!! I'm the start of the hop and next on the hop is Aud Nordheim. Make sure and stop by all their blogs & see their fabulous projects (all their links are also on my sidebar)! And grab that blinkie up top for your own blogs if ya love it!!

A Lil' Birdie Told Me!!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I had a busy, busy day creating yesterday but got alot done so that makes me happy. I even got all my laundry done & a 55 min. workout--woohooo! I forgot how good it feels to work your body out and know that you're burning lotsa fat cells, LOL! We'll see how it goes---8 weeks & counting!!

**Don't forget to stop by Susana's Store blog "Follow Your Heart" and check out the sneaky peeks of the new stamps coming out on Friday by Victoria Case (OMGoodness are they cute-a-licious)!! While you're there enter for the YUMMY BLOG CANDY too!!**

So today is Tuesday, so that means it's "Try It Out Tuesday" for Susana's Store Blog!! I challenged the DT to create cards that were NOT a square or rectangle shape today!! It's always fun to make cards in a different shape & so fun to give & recieve too! I made a gift to go along with my card today. This cute lil' birdhouse was created from a FREE template by Nichole Heady for PTI (ya know I lovee my PTI)--very easy to print & assemble! My cs is from PTI also and the polka-dots were created with PTI's "Polka Dot Basics" for the bg.

My card features this fabulous new Lockhart stamp "Wicker Chair" that I colored with Copics & added some fun polka dots to the chair cushion to match. I used my Nestabilities Labels 1 (now 15% off at Susana's) to make my card shape. Gingham ribbon is from PTI & the rose is from Prima.

I just adore the shape of this birdhouse--so cute! I used my CB embossing folder on the roof to give it texture & then added some ink to distress it a bit. I cut my hole out with a scalloped nestability & covered the window with vellum so the inside was hidden a bit. My birdhouse holds 6 teabags inside, but you could put lots of lil' gifts in there! The flowers are hydrangeas & roses from Prima.
The tag was made using my Nestability Labels 4 (lovee this shape for tags) and stamped PTI's "Tea for Two" sentiment on it and also Lockhart's "IB Birds". Tied a bow thru the roof and thru the tag & added some more Primas.
I made my birdhouse open on one side and it closes with a Basic Grey Magnet--I just added a little tag for the magnet to stick on to. This whole birdhouse was put together with Scor-Tape--so its super strong!! Hope you liked the projects today??

So make sure and stop by the "Follow Your Heart" blog to see the rest of the DT's brilliant creations!!

See ya tomorrow!

Suzanne

You're Gorjuss!!

Happy Monday Friends!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I had a wonderful weekend spending time outside in the gorgeous, spring weather we had--but sadly its raining now & supposed to rain thru Wednesday, BLECH!! I got my veggie garden in & I'm so happy its done now--hopefully lots of fresh veggies to come! Ya know fresh is best, especially when you know where everything came from & NO pesticides! I see some yummy grilled veggies in my future--YUM! When everything is grown in a bit, I'll take a picture for you all to see. Hubby did a great job building me a raised garden pit--looks really nice!

So, while I was working on the 4 NEW Video Tutorials yesterday (more about that later) I had colored up these fabby Gorjuss girls for them & wanted to put them to good use! I adore this paper that I've been hoarding from Stemma Designs (got mine at Michaels or Joann's)--love the bold graphic pattern & colors! You can get the Gorjuss girl stamps at FunkyKits here.

First up is the card, which the front of is only 3/4 of the entire card--I cut the edge with my Curvy Rectangle Nestabilities! The image is colored w/ my Copics of course & accented with some stickles. The sentiment is PTI's "Around & About Sentiments" set stamped in their white palette ink. I just tied a simple ribbon bow underneath & its done--so cute!

The door hanger is easy peasy to make--Just layered cs and then cut the door handle hole with my scalloped circle nestabilities. The image is popped up with dimensional foam tape & the "Keep Out" is actually a slider that you can pull out & flip over to "Come In" (see below)! The words were created & printed from my computer and then I stamped some floral swirls around it!
Here is the door hanger with the slider flipped over to "Come In"! Just a cute set for a girl in your life and its for sale at my Etsy shop if you're interested!! (on sidebar)

Now for the Video Tutorials! I shot 4 in total & am thrilled to pieces that I've finally figured out my video editing software (after a whole month, hee hee)! Neapolitan Ice Cream, Anyone??!

Hiya and Happy Tuesday everyone! Did ya miss me? LOL!! Hope you all had a great Spring Break holiday & Easter! Boy, did we have a great time in Hilton Head Island, SC--I didn't want to come home, hee hee! It was sunny & 78 degrees everday and I love, love to be around water (ocean, lakes, marshes)--I find it sooo calming! Hopefully my break has revved up my creative mojo juices so I can get back to work this week! I'll share some more details of my trip & some pictures with you tomorrow! I'm typing this up at 1 am after a 10 hour drive home, so I'm exhausted but totally dedicated to you---so I had to post these projects for ya!!! :o)

Since its Tuesday, that means it's also "Try It Out Tuesday" for Susana's Custom Art & Card Design store! Make sure and stop by the store blog, Follow Your Heart to see the rest of the DT's projects too! I challenged the DT to a double dare--a sketch & color challenge this week. You can see the sketch over on the store blog & the colors were "Neapolitan Ice Cream"--YUM! (ya know, pink, brown & white/cream) I made three fun projects for this week's challenge!

The first project is a card and a fun keychain, bag tag or whatever you'd like it to be!! I used one of my cute Smirk stamps (only $3.95 each & NOW 30% off too) for both and the dp is all from SU.

I bought these cute lil' unfinished mini-clipboards at AC Moore (2 in a pack for $1) and knew I'd use them eventually! I decided to make a fun keychain/bag tag with mine to match my card!

This is my sketch challenge card--boy, I really love these colors together, so pretty! The flowers are Petaloo and the rhinestones are Kaiser. Aren't these lil' girl friends the cutest--I just love 'em!

Second card I made for the sketch/color challenge uses the Lockhart stamp "Violet Cupcake". Of course I made the flowers pink, but isn't that just the prettiest lil' stamp! The dp on this card is a mix of DCWV "Sweet" dp & PTI dp. If you look closely, you'll see that the pink cs is embossed--I did that with the new Spellbinders Impressabilities (flowers). These are just gorgeous to use, so make sure and check them out--there are alot of fun things that can be done with them (embossing, stenciling, cutting)! The embellies are PTI ribbon & Bella Baubles in Copper!

NEWS--You can now pre-order the "Summer Kit" from Whiff of Joy right HERE! Awesome deal (15 stamps by Elisabeth Bell including sentiments for $37)!!!!

Make sure and stop by the Follow Your Heart Blog to see all the DT projects today!!

Alrighty, I'm outta here--sleepy, sleepy time for me!

Quilting Friends!!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm still here in South Carolina enjoying the sun & getting some "relaxin'" done!! Hope you all have some wonderful plans for the Easter weekend!! This is the first time we've been away from home for Easter and not done our usual Easter Egg Hunt & Easter baskets! But the kids are older now & they really wanted to come to the beach for their Easter so that's what we did :o)

Before I had left, I created another gift set using one of my favorite Paper Trey Ink sets "Quilter's Sampler"! This set includes a covered notepad (on left above), matching pen, 2 cards and a tea towel! All the supplies are from PTI including the buttons & Palette Inks I used to stamp on the cards & towel. (I have 2 of these sets for sale on my Etsy shop on sidebar)

This is one of the cards that can be sent to a great friend and the other card in the set is a birthday sentiment!! The colors I used from PTI are Melon Berry, Spring Moss, Summer Sunrise & Ocean Tides.

This tea towel was stamped with PTI's Palette Inks so it can be washed over & over again! Love that!
This is the covered notepad & matching pen! Such a fun set to give as a gift to someone special!!

**If you haven't entered for the yummy Elisabeth Bell Blog Candy over at Susana's store blog--make sure and go enter before the 14th!! It's an awesome opportunity to win something special!**

Alrighty, I'm outta here---enjoy your Easter weekend!

Stamping Crazy!!

Hello Stamping Friends! I'll keep my monologue here kinda short for you today since I have lots to share with you! Fun projects today and some new video tutorials too! Thank you all for your wonderful support, encouragement and kind comments concerning my videos--I hope that they are helpful to you all!

Today is "Try It Out Tuesday" over at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design store blog, Follow Your Heart! Today I challenged the DT to make a 2+2 card---2 layers not including base and 2 embellishments. And no I did not cheat, hee hee--my image, sentiment & ribbon are all attached to one layer!! This cutie-patootie stamp is from Anki's Sweethearts called "Isac with Skateboard"--so cute! I'm always on the lookout for cute boy stamps! My second layer is this fun Basic Grey dp from their "Cupcake" stack, twill ribbon is from PTI and sentiment is from Gina K. I also embossed my red layer for some more texture. Make sure and stop by the Store blog today to see the rest of the DT's fun creations!

My next project I'm just giddy with excitement about, hee hee! I absolutely love how this all turned out & was conceived in my head (when I should have been sleeping) last week. It all started with these little tea towels I had picked up at the Target $1 Spot--I got some white ones and pink ones to play with and knew I wanted to try and stamp on them!

Appropriately enough, I used the Lockhart stamp "Teapot" for my projects which include a decorative tea towel, notecard and tea box (of my own design). The lovely dp is new from Stampin' Up!

I stamped my tea towel with my Lockhart stamp using Memento Black Ink & then colored it in with Copics--yes I colored on fabric with Copics!! Love it! I was even able to shade on the fabric--how cool is that! I then heat set it with my heat gun---you could wash this a few times before the ink fades, but is mostly decorative!

For my notecard I stamped the same image, colored with Copics and then added Diamond Glaze to my teapot & cup. The lil' cupcakes/muffins have a topping of Liquid Pearls in pink for dimension--so cute! The pearls are actually Bella Baubles in Oyster!

The above picture and the one at the top shows my lil' accordian Tea Box that I created and made a template for a few months ago. (NOTE: if you make/use my Tea Box please give credit where credit is due and do not use it for submissions or publications please!) You can find my tutorial for this HERE and it's also on my sidebar under Tutorials/Templates. Super easy to make and it holds 4 tea bags inside--so such a cute gift presentation. I used a pearl brad to attach my Bazzill flowers to the top---it also sticks to my small Basic Grey magnet on the front for closure.
I hope you enjoyed my projects today--leave me a comment (I love 'em) and let me know how you liked them all!

Sweet Peas!!

Happy President's Day (for those of ya here in the states)! Hope you're enjoying a day off! Kids and hubby are off today and we're going shopping for me (hee hee)---for a new chair for my family room and a new scanner! We didn't do much for Valentine's Day since the kids had sleepovers but hubby did buy me the ENTIRE new release of Paper Trey Ink goodies---wahooo! No candy or chocolate for me---just stamping goodies & I'm in HEAVEN!! Have you seen those beautiful buttons that match all their wonderous colors (225 buttons for only $5)!!? Ahh, anyway....onto my projects for the day---

PICTURES REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION--sorry!!

I lovee Karen Lockhart stamps---they're fun, elegant and so versatile for any project you might need. I've used the "Sweet Pea" stamp for all my projects today! (Remember if you buy 4 regular Lockharts from Susana's store, you get to pick out a Lockhart Itty Bitty stamp for free!)
I made a set of 4 of these notecards and a matching notepad as a gift set! Most boutiques sell these sets for $20+ and it probably only cost me a few bucks in supplies to make--who wouldn't love a gift like this!! And easy peasy to put together too :o)

I think navy and cream/white are so, so elegant together and such a great pop of color! The dp & cs is from Stampin' Up. I colored with Copics and then added a layer of Shimmerz in "Ultramarine" to the flowers for a soft shimmer. Also added a thick coat of diamond glaze to the vase! The layout I used on the card is from my sketch over on the "Fans of Karen Lockhart" site on PaperCraft Planet---its the February sketch of the month and you have until the end of the month to participate if you'd like. At the end of the month someone will win a PRIZE!!
Just a peek of the inside of the notepad. I buy 10 packs of these small white notepads for like $3 at Staples--they're by Mead. I use them for everything and they're so fun to make covers for--easy to do & so pretty too!

For the second card I changed up the colors a bit--so spring like! I loved this ribbon I had so I basically built my card around it :o) Lots of Cuttlebug Embossing on my cs, the photo corners are by Spellbinders that I added some yellow pearls to.

I love Flower Soft--I got to play with it at CHA although I already owned a few pots myself and really learned how to use it more effectively. Flower Soft pairs up wonderfully with all of the Lockhart stamps too. I colored my image with Copics first and then added 2 colors of Flower Soft on top. I also put Diamond Glaze on my vase again--love that look! But the Flower Soft just ROCKS---looks so pretty & realistic!

I did a tutorial for 7 Kids College Fund on using Flower Soft if you'd like to see it right HERE--they have all the kits and single pots in stock. I will also keep a link to the tutorial on my sidebar (its also up at the PaperCraft Planet site too). You can get Flower Soft kits at Pez-a-Doodle too! If you haven't tried it you shoud---the Starter Kit "Pretty Pots" is a great way to get started because it includes a little bit of everything in it including the glue!

Well, I'm off to go shopping and hopefully some playtime in my craftroom too!

hugz,
Suzanne

Lil' Valentines!!

Hello everyone! How are you all doing this first weekend of January? Other than taking down my Christmas decorations (times 8 trees plus outside is an all day event, lol) we don't have any plans except taking it easy--of course after packing away my tons of Xmas stuff I'll need a day of rest!! I'll try and keep this post short for ya so you can get on with your day, hee hee!

I made a set of these cute Valentine notecards for my neice (3 of each) for her to give out to her "special" friends this Valentine's Day! I ADORE this set "My Favorite Valentine" from H&M Stamps--the images are just too cute (lil doggie in set is cute too, didn't finish him up in time for pictures tho')! Remember Jan.6th thru 7th, H&M Stamps is having a HUGE Garage Sale and all stamps will be $5 or under---so if you like this set or want others make sure and get 'em while they're on sale--you'll save bigtime!!

This set of cards uses Basic Grey "Sultry" dp and SU cs in fun & bright colors! They're such happy colors to me :o) I colored both images with Copics and then layered Shimmerz on top (can't really tell from my photos but they're super shimmer IRL)! A few stickles, some dry embossing and the ribbon is from American Crafts--simple designs that are easy to mass produce and cheery to boot!

*************************************************
If you have been anxiously awaiting all the new stamp releases this month--it's your lucky weekend:

An Itty Bitty Christmas!!

Happy TGIF everybody!! Hurray its the "busy" weekend before Thanksgiving here in the States. I am actually starting to put up all my holiday decorations this weekend so that by next Sunday I should be done (fingers crossed). We're going to my mom's for a few days at the end of next week for Thanksgiving but will be home Friday evening cuz' I want to go to our favorite Christmas Tree Farm to get our 2 real trees (the other 6 are fake) and get them put up asap! Does anyone go out shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving (known as Black Friday here in the States; people get up at 3 am to go shopping for great sales--its craziness)? I've never gone out on Black Friday because I hate crowds and pushy people--makes me nervous--which is why I do most of my holiday shopping online, no lines! All right enuff blibber-blabber & on to my news & projects of the day!

Sooo, has everyone heard about the Paper Craft Planet madness--if not, where ya been :) My friend Susana asked me if I'd like to start up a group for Karen Lockhart stamps a few weeks ago and of course I had to say "yes", hee hee. Today is our "grand opening" for "Fans of Karen Lockhart" and we have a great contest going on to win some extra special goodies to kick it off. To enter you just need to join our group and leave a numbered comment on the group (contest runs thru next Friday). We will have regular challenges & contests including a "card of the month" contest so if you love Karen Lockhart stamps you should join up asap & join me for LOTS OF FUN. If you're wanting to buy some of these awesome stamps, check out Susana's Custom Art & Card Design for her great selection.

I love Karen's Itty Bitty Line of stamps--they're super cute and fun to use. You can quickly whip up projects like I have with these stamps. (NOTE: Not all of her stamps are inchies/itty bittys, only if they have IB in front of the name, the rest are regular sized stamps) I wanted to make a holiday card gift set that includes 6 cards & envies(A2 size) and 6 tags. I used only 2 lines of dp (Basic Grey's Wassail & Memory Box's Frost) and SU and PTI cs. I colored with Copics & Spica's and added stickles here and there. The above cards use IB ornaments (which I stamped twice) and IB Snow Buddy. I used some of my new Nestabilities shapes and outlined with a Gold Liquid Pen on some of these. (NOTE: these metallic pens are awesome to use, easy nice flow and nice metallic shine)

I absolutely love this new Nestability Shape(Labels 1) its my new favorite me thinks. I added small jingle bells to my ribbon on the left and gold Robin's Nest dew drops to the card on the right. To see these up close you can really see all the shimmer from the Spicas. These stamps are IB Stocking and IB wreath.

My IB pie card uses another new Nestability shape (Curved Rectangles). I love this lil' pie--I made mine cherry, yummo! I used a smaller nestie as a stencil for my Liquid Gold pen for the outline. The sentiments are from PTI's "Rustic Snowflakes" & "Holiday Tag Collection"(this is a must have set for the holidays). The IB mittens are glittered up with stickles and the twill is from SU.

Above are the stamped envelopes--such a quick way to dress-up your envies. The clear box I used at the top to hold everything is from Clear Bags--lots of sizes & not expensive for a pack of 'em. Such a pretty way to box them up and give as a gift. I wrapped the box with my gold PTI ribbon and added a tag made with the nesties and IB wreath & attached with gold cording. You can see the tags if you join the PaperCraft group--they'll be up on the group site only (hee, hee)!

Sooo, whatcha' think? Wanna make some of these--they're quick to pull together I promise. So join up on my "Fans of Karen Lockhart Stamps" and I'll see ya there, okay! I'll be back tomorrow with some new projects and Sunday I'm taking the day off to run errands & do some holiday decorating! My daughter is going to see the "Twilight" movie with friends this evening while my hubby, me & ds see "Bolt". Anybody else out there big "Twilight" fans--I haven't read them yet but my daughter assures me they're fabby!

have a great day,Suzanne

$1 Bins

Good afternoon! I just have a quick post today, since I'm trying to finish up a couple of card sets--I will share when they are finished up. I made this Stamping Bella card and matching notebook for a friend's bday to go along with a gift card I got her. This bella's name is "Imeldabella" & I love her because we (and my friend) share a great liking for shoes!! I won't even tell you how many pairs I have because that might be embarassing for me and overwhelming for you--lol! Just know that I ordered 3 new pairs of sandals from Zappos the other day to add to my collection :) Anyway, getting on with things--this notebook was grabbed from the Michael's $1 bin and the last picture shows you what it looks like in the package before altering. I grabbed a bunch and they also had little notecard sets in a box which I grabbed too (show you that later in the week after I alter them). I always buy a ton of things from the dollar spot in hopes of getting to them, but never seem to, so I made myself do what I actually had set out to do!! I like to alter things, but it always seems to take me so long to make a template and then get to the actual project! The dp is from DCWV "all dressed up" stack, which I adore because it has zebra paper in it. I love my zebra print (I have shoes, purses, pillows & etc. w/ it)! And don't forget to check out Gina K's new stamps tonight at her release party (7pm central, 8pm eastern)over on SCS forum--she has zebra products this time (so getting them) & lots of other new sets too! Maybe I'll see you tonight over at the party on SCS.

See ya--Suzanne
PS--I get most of my DCWV stacks from Joanns website, they have bunches if you're interested.
