Hello friends & Happy Sunday to you all! I am back from my trip to NC and waving to all the gals who came out to my Copic classes and a BIG thank you to Betty & Eric for hosting me at The Stamping & Scrapbooking Room. I had a great time and it was so nice to finally meet some of the cyber-friends up close & personal On Wednesday I leave for South Carolina to my good friend Pat Jayne’s house and I’m so excited to see her and our third musketeer Dana Shaw. We 3 had such a good time in Florida, closed the town down so lord help SC when we all get there, LOL! I will drive down early on Wednesday as its an almost 9 hour drive for me---whewheeee LOL. Definitely lots of singing and talk-radio in my future. I think we might be day tripping to the Biltmore House in Asheville one day and have my heart (errr eyes & wallet) set on a new pair of cowboy boots (yeehaw). So if you are in SC and would like to take a class or stop by and say HI we have 2 spots left in class and I’d love to see ya!
And oh yeah---my NEW traveling companion is below---he LIKES hanging out with me!! You will see him LOTS with me this summer so stay tuned. Cuz at the end of summer someone will win a HUGE $150 craft prize from me if you can keep track of all the places he has been 'kay? So keep your eyes peeled, LOL! Why Waldo? Well my friends always say "Where in the world is Suzanne today" so that's KINDA how he came into my possession (winking at my Michigan gal pals)!

This project was soooooooooo much FUN for me and YES I did have that Cinderella song “Cinder-relly” running thru my head. You know where the birds & mice sing and create Cinderella’s new dress for her (see video below if you have NO idea what crazy nonsense I’m talking about now, hee hee). But this beautiful image is by Carmen Medlin for SCACD called “Naturally Styled” from the Natural Beauty Collection and I just love it---so many ways to color and use this image!
My papers are older Cosmo Cricket and I love the color combo of dk. red and aquas. I used the Spellbinder die “Lacey Squares” and turned it to mimic the diamond pattern on the paper. The leaves are from the newer Spellbinders die that I love called “Foliage”. I inked all the edges with aqua ink and then gave the leaves some bling with stickles. I used my Nellie Snellen flower punch to create the aqua flowers and then added red Primas (some are 25% off now—yay) and some rosebuds.
Isn’t this image lovely? I colored it with Copics R29,R24,R22,R20 / BG72,BG11,BG10 / E25,E31,E50 /YG67,G20. I added Viva Décor Pearl Pen to create some small pearls to the dress’ bodice and then to the corners of the image. Stickles on the bottom of the dress and its lace trim, and roses.
Cinder-relly Song :)
Have a great Sunday---enjoy!
