It’s Thursday friends—the day before the fabulous weekend starts, LOL! I am headed down to North Carolina tomorrow to teach and then drive back thru the night on Saturday. Yep, crazy I know but its only a 4.5 hour drive so not too bad and I can SINNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGggg the whole way of course! I’m looking forward to seeing the girls and having a good time in class! Then Sunday I will spend with the family. I think James is taking the kids to an Orioles game in Baltimore on Saturday and I’m praying it doesn’t rain on them. My finger is feeling a teeny bit better from the burn but it should be fun stamping images for class today, hee hee---if you hear strange cussin’ & screamin’ then it’s probably ME! OMG for Mother’s Day I bought myself (yes I do this often) the Wii Country Dance game---me and Alexa played and I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. I know how to line dance and she didn’t (whoo hooo momma) so she was MADDER than a hornet cuz I was BEATIN’ the pants off of her! She said “I’m going to practice while you’re traveling so we can have a re-match” hee hee! If you like a good dance workout its really fun and you’ll torch some calories! When I’m in Vegas in 2 weeks I’m hittin’ Stoney’s Country bar---major line dancing and bands there! I’m IN for that, LOL! Load me up with lots of Cherry Coke and I’ll go & go & go…………hee hee! And so excited as I got Sugarland tickets for June 18th in Pennsylvania (loveeee them so much) and then also will see Blake Shelton Sept 4th---omg I love him, LOL (not as much as Tim McGraw though--whooo yeah)!
NewsBitz:
-Color Me Creative June News Letter went out yesterday---if you want to see it, go HERE! There are lots of new upcoming events, groups & classes!!
Today the Gina K DT is doing a final Blog Hop to showcase the StampTV Kit called “Vintage Chic”. This set YOU NEED!!! LOL! It is packed to the brim with beautiful images and sentiments (see my other card I did here with it). Not to mention the kit comes with lots of yummy colored cardstock, ribbon, brads & exclusive patterned paper—a great deal!
If you are hopping then your next stop after me will be the fabulous Tami Mayberry’s Blog HERE!
I love this fun image and I stamped it and the sentiment in white Palette Ink onto the chocolate brown Gina K cardstock and let dry (Palette white ink can be juicy so let it sit for a few mins or it will smear). The mat around it is in the NEW yummy-licious colored cardstock by Gina K called “Just Peachy”. The die cut is by Spellbinders called “Beaded Ovals” and I love to bling it up with some pearls to make it very feminine. And a great paper pack to have that works with this stamp set and peach cardstock perfectly? Like it was meant to be together, lol, is Graphic 45’s “Romantique” which is what I used on my project. A bow made with the Bow Easy finishes it off nicely. And yes a few Stardust Stickles on the mirror for sparkle!
- Suzanne Dean (that’s me—thank u)
This is beautiful, the colors, the papers, the bow, WOW!!
