Travelin'!!

Hiya everyone & Happy Tuesday! Ahh, another busy week here in the Dean household and probably yours too, right!! I'm still on a NKOTB high, but I won't bore ya with more details, lol!

I'm on a Magnolia blitz today for ya! I've had this Traveler Tilda for awhile so I just had to pull her out today along with her suitcases. Remember if you are interested in any of these be-u-tiful Magnolia stamps you can now purchase them from Diana Crick's webshop Magnolia-licious!

I love to make gate-fold cards, they're easy and quick to make (especially if you have a scor-pal) and always fun for the receiver, dontcha' think! Magnolia and her luggage were colored with my Copics and then cut out and popped up w/ dimensionals. This yummy dp is from My Minds Eye "Laundry Line" (I am sooooo lovin' this paper) and I paired it up with PTI's lavender moon cs. I used my nestabilities to cut out the circles and attached it to one side of the gate fold with dimensionals. The card closes with PTI's lavender moon ribbon on the side. Inside I used a sentiment sticker from Cloud 9 Designs and inked up the inside/outside of card with brown ink to distress. I added stickles to her scarlet purse---the purse always has to make a statement ya know!!! :)

I tell ya' I am on a mission to use my 700+ coasters that I bought 6 mos. ago, lol! I had to make another ornament today using this cutie-patootie snowman from Magnolia. Ya' know I put up 8 Xmas trees every year so I always am in need of more ornaments (yes, I'll tell you again that I'm CRAZY) and these are so quick to put together that I might even make some for gifts!! This paper is from My Minds Eye "Snowed In" line and I paper pieced this lil' guys scarf to match. I added stickles to him (note:I shade white objects with gray Copics, C1 and C3) around the edges and then cut him out. The primitive heart was hand drawn by me (oh my) and then I inked all the paper and edges with brown ink. The sentiment is from PTI's "Rustic Branches" set that I stamped on red cs with gold palette ink and then attached to a plastic tag that I also distressed (tag from Gina K). I added ribbon from Michaels and raffia to the top and took my Crop-a-Dile and punched holes around the perimeter. Do you likee him, I sure do!!!

Alright, tomorrow is a super busy day---I might have to do another double post (gasp). I will have a Whiff of Joy Christmas card for ya, a Storage Units, Ink and More project and a Spiral Whisper card too...whewwww!! So I'll see ya back here tomorrow....

Suzanne
