Hi friends & a Happy Thursday to ya!! I'm off today to National Harbor to see "ICE" at the Gaylord Resort and come snow or high water, we will be on our way to NYC Saturday morning! Thank goodness for 4-wheel drive, hee hee! It's supposed to snow in NYC on Christmas Day--my kids are sooo jealous--they've never had a white Christmas before but ya never know. The weather has been really wacky lately I tell ya!
BTW, I stayed up the night before last to finish an AWESOME book--it was just fabulous. It's called "Julia's Chocolates" by Cathy Lamb--you have to get thru the first chapter and then it just sucks you in, LOL! It's a laugh out loud, shocking at times and wonderful story about an odd group of women and what connects them. A great story about the power of women, friendship, family and love--it is a wonderful read. If you read it (or have read it already) let me know what you think and which lady you identify with--I'm totally Lydia in a lot of ways, LMBO! And the breakfast-sausage scene--made me laugh out loud for sure--too funny!! I'm hoping that Santa really does bring me that Kindle I'm so wishing for cuz' I will be getting her other books downloaded for sure :o)
This gorgeous Tilda (don't ya love her curly, long hair) was colored with Copics and accented with stardust Stickles. I used these Copic colors: B39,B37,B26,B21 on her nightgown. Hope you love her as much as me!
Alrighty I'm off for a few days but will have a post up for you Monday morning (so you won't miss me too much, LOL)!! Have a fabulous weekend!
This year I am most thankful for my health. I had a really bad October, which included 2 hospital stays, and a total of 3 weeks sick leave from work. I have improved steadily since then, and had my best day yet on Thursday, the 17th - I drove 100 miles to the doctor, spent the day shopping, and drove home, with only sore feet to end the day!

It's brought me to some amazing friends and opportunities. Thanks Suzanne for being part of that! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYour Tilda is adorable. I love how you colored her. Hmmm, let's see, I'm thankful that I have my precious family with me this Christmas and that next year brings the promise of positive changes after a rough year.
ReplyDeleteThis year I am most thankful to be married to the man of my dreams and my soulmate for 35 years. As a matter of fact, today is our 35th wedding anniversary. I'm thankful that with this man we are blessed with 3 beautiful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. God has truly blessed us in family and love. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI am most grateful for my beautiful new granddaughter Clara, who is the fulfillment of 37 years of marriage to the love of my life, three amazing daughters, and two great sons-in-law. All worries disappear when Clara smiles or laughs with you. God has been so gracious to our family.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous (as usual)! I love reading your blog - always picks me up. I'm thankful always for my family - family will ALWAYS be there no matter what! Hope you have a blast in NYC! Mele Kalikimaka from Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteMy little 2 year old grandson has been cancer free for a whole year! We are so blessed. AND I have a new little grandson this year, so I am thankful for both of these miracles.

Hi Suzanne...what a STUNNING card hun! I'm so sad it's your last Christmas card...I just love seeing your beautiful holiday creations...but I know your next ones will be wonderful! Thanks so much for the chance to win such fantastic goodies...WOW! I am most thankful for the supportive family that I have. This semester was tough at school and knowing that I have a wonderful hubby who believes in me and my parents who remind me that I am smart helped me get through some tough exams!
ReplyDeleteHugs~ Kim
love it, and I appreciate when you tell us which colors you use too.
ReplyDeletehugs from cold, snowy France. Woke up to our first snow and temperature of -10 C Brrrrrrrr

Wow...beautiful card and awesome goodies!! I am most thankful for something a bit different this year...that I seem to have gotten my Christmas spirit back. I'm thankful for my family and friends and all the other blessings I have every day, but this year is the first year I've looked forward to Christmas in almost 15 years. It has made a huge impact in my home, because we've done a lot of activities together that I usually just let everyone else do and don't participate in...like lighting the tree, making the gingerbread house (tho this year, we did a gingerbread tree for something different). Anyhow...thanks for the chance to win, and have a Merry Christmas! Enjoy NYC, although I have to say...it is very dangerous for you to be driving Saturday...be careful! ~Angela
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious little Tilde - Truly a wonderful card!!!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for soooo much...my salvation thru faith, supportive family and friends, being able to use the gifts God has given me, and enjoying every minute of it!!!
A blessed Christmas wish to you and yours,
Jan Castle
I am thankful getting to share 50 years with my loving husband,my family and friends. Great being to share the good and knowing there is someone to help in the bad ones. Have a blessed Christmas and thank you for sharig with us.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my husband's 10 years being cancer free after having his larynx removed and learned how to talk again without any aids. We are going to celebrate our 57th Anniversary this March and he has been my strength through all our trials and tribulations, including three bouts of depression, loosing a son to a drunk driver and making sure that I have enough oxygen so that I can go and have a good time no matter what I am going to be doing.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my baby boy Aidan. He turned 1 on Nov. 3 and it's been an exhausting but very rewarding year. I am also thankful that I get to stay home with him and I am grateful for my loving and supportive husband.
ReplyDeleteI am most thankful that everyone in my family is doing well. We may all have to struggle at times but we are all healthy and there for each other. Thanks so much for the blog candy and Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteYour work continues to inspire me.
I am most thankful for my kids. No matter what else we love each other and together can get through anything.
Merry Christmas
I sm so thankful for my family and friends. They are my safe harbor when the seas get rough ...:)
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely! The colors are just perfect! KIM
Your card is beautiful! I'm most thankful for my health, family and friends! Your Merry Christmas blog candy is fantastic and thank you for a chance to win. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays Suzanne ! As always another or last beautifula Christmas card with Tilda. This year its been a different kind of year with lots going on but I survived it and ready to get it behind me with the tumor removal from my knee, postal management giving me a letter of removal because of my injury but able to win it and returning (Dec.23 -yuk~~ anxiety) but have faith from family, friends,co-workers and lawyer that I can do this and prove the discrimination on how I have been treated. Moving on; I found the Magnolia group and while I was stuck at home from surgery I have been able to have some fun playing with copic markers and a few images !!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card!! I'm thankful for my health which is good at the moment. Merry Christmas, enjoy the snow!
ReplyDeleteI am greatful that, after three surgeries this year, including one emergency one, that I am healthy.
ReplyDeleteI'm most thankful this year for my friends and family that have helped me through a separation from my husband, selling my home and moving to a new city and that now I know I'm strong enough to make it on my own. I'm also thankful that I have a stamping hobby that helps me take my mind of things! Thanks Suzanne, your work always inspires me. Happy Holidays to you & your family!
ReplyDeleteThis year, I am very thankful to still have a job. It was touch and go over the summer with the possibility of the home I work for closing, so it was a relief that that didn't happen. This is a lousy economy to job search in!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for family and friends.

What a gorgeous card, Suzanne, thank you for sharing your talents with us this year, I have learned so much from you and, gotten great book referrals!!! Hope Santa gets you your Kindle, they are great....
ReplyDeleteWhat I am also thankful for are my wonderful children and their spouses, and my health. Family is so important, and this year we didn't lose anyone else!!!
Hope your New Year is filled with happiness and good health.......
First, I'm most grateful for my family. Next, I'm most grateful for the internet and the opportunities it has provided me. Like the opportunity to be self-employed and design websites for a living! I feel so blessed for that b/c I love it so much. Also, it provides a line of communication with other people like me! People who love to be creative just as much as I do!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the sweetest card! You have a terrific blog. I am so thankful our house is normal this holiday..last year we had a flood downstairs, then we had to pack up, then we had workmen here even on Christmas Eve, then no power on Christmas Day, and a car accident after Christmas...and this year we just have a broken dishwasher (so far) and I am sooooo gratefull !!!
ReplyDeleteI am most thankful for the help my daughter is FINALLY getting, medical. There are some things a mother just cannnot do. Second, I am thankful to all the wonderful bloggers out there. I have been housebound, illness, for over a month now. The bloggers have kept me from going off the deep end! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteSharon L
Stunning card. This Tilda is one I would like to get. Beautiful colours. I am most thankful that I am retiring on Christmas Eve and for Almost 40years with my loving and supportive husband. Have a great Christmas. Thanks for the chance to win
ReplyDeleteMarion
I am most thankful for my health. At the end of November I had a really bad scare and after several tests found out that all was well. I prayed and prayed and my prayers were answered.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is so beautiful. Absolutely stunning. Your embellishments, glitter, colouring everything just make this card.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful that my family is health and safe.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Suzanne! I am most thankful for my husband, beautiful daughters, and adorable grandkids. Baby Abby is our latest addition this year and I'm so grateful that her parents decided to get counseling and try to work out their issues. It's been a rough year for them and I'm so grateful that in the disposable world they are trying to work things out and not just give up - their 3 beautiful children deserve that.
ReplyDeletemathlady51@sbcglobal.net
This year, I am most thankful for things to be working out in between me and my boyfriend. No, I am not a love struck teenager, it's just that things were really rough in between us last year and it took a lot of energy out of the both of us. We decided that we wanted to try it again and there are just too much in between us to just throw it all away, so here we are this year, together and celebrating the holidays together.
ReplyDeleteOh Suzanne, your card is GORGEOUS! I love this Tilda's long hair. And of course your coloring is absolutely AMAZING! I really need that Bow Easy to make those beautiful bows!
ReplyDeleteI am so very thankful for the Lord's blessings on my family. It's been a crazy year for us: drug addiction (my youngest son.....PTL he's doing well now), our beloved golden retriever, Chloe, passed away and then in Sept. we attended my niece's beautiful wedding in Hershey, PA as part of a 5-day New York visit with my son & daughter-in-law who moved to Queens almost 2 years ago (he's a resident ER Dr at St. Barnabas in the Bronx).
The economy has hit us HARD here in southern California (my hubby is in construction.....ouch) but the Lord is giving us wisdom & helping us to hang onto our home. 2010 is going to be a GREAT year!
Have a great trip!
Huggies ~ Sharron ♥
PS.....thanks so much for your sweet comments on my blog. It means a lot to me that you take the time.
This year I am most thankful for my family and my husbands family, I know I can count on them no matter what the situation and they will always be there for us, and that is the kind of thing that is priceless.
ReplyDeleteJulia
I am most thankful for my kids, all four of them, all their antics and bad behavior aside I love them so very much, and I cannot imagine my life without them. They teach me so many things, and give me such joy.
ReplyDeleteLily
I am thankful my family is safe and happy. On a more selfish note, I am thrilled I have not gotten a cold this year. For the last three years I have gotten a cold right before christmas that turned into bronchitis and lasted for months. So far this year, barely a sniffle. YEAH!
ReplyDeleteYour Tilda is such a beauty, just stunning in blue and white!!
ReplyDeleteI am most thankful to have both of my parents still living after a very difficult year for them health-wise. I am thankful for their encouragement and love that transcends time and space!!
I am thankful for family. I am the last one left on my side of the family, & my husbands side is hugh, lol. But I am also thankful for life, as I almost lost it due to a back surgery gone wrong, lets just say in short after 2 mos. in ICU, I am confined to home 24/7, having moved from a home in the mtns.(Morton, Wa.) for 25 yrs., to a place in the city(Longview, Wa.)where to walk it has to be small enough to have something to hold onto, have no friends, & these walls are all you have, but I feel so wonderful as I have a loving hubby of 33 yrs. , a son with 2 great girls, & wonderful wife(wished lived close enough to see), & another grand-daughter in Conn.(lost her dad in '94-& I miss terribly).
ReplyDeleteI look at life this way- that there are always people in this world that are a lot worse off than I am. So home-bound isn't so bad, I am alive.
Hugs to all, & a blessed holiday ,
Julia
Hi Suzanne, I so have to apologize to you. I am had one of those weeks, and it seemed that each morning I only had time to check your blog out and see what fantastic things that you have come up with. I did not however get the chance to say hi or let you know what an awesome job you do. I hope that you and yours are having a great weekend in New York. I so can not wait to see pics. I am most thankful for my family. It took Jerry and me over 4 years to become prenant with our son then God decided that he needed his sister, so the day after his 1st Birthday Madison was given to us. I love my Children and could not imagine my life without them. I am sorry to go on, but I just could not be any luckier when it comes to want God gave us when we were sure that it was not ment to happen. Have a wonderful Sunday and drive careful, Lisa g
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful for my Uncle Cliff, who passed away Nov.30th at the age of 98. He has always been there for me...He was my rock.
ReplyDeleteLinda Peo
I am most thankful to my family. They are my best gift ever!!! Without them, I will not be myself.
ReplyDeleteLove your amazing coloring on Tilda!

ReplyDeleteHello Suzanne!
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your Christmas morning Tilda. She is my very favourite and she is on her way to me in the mail. The way you have coloured her dress is so beautiful. It looks like satin. I love the cream around her and the navy circle.
I have so much to thank God for this last year. I had just got over having a double mastectomy with breast cancer when my DH got bowel cancer. He has been having treatment all year and has now been told their is no more cancer in his body. We are believing that it won't return. God is so faithful. We make the most of every day.
I started a blog this year and it has been such a joy to me. The ladies are such a blessing with their wonderful creations.
There are always things to be thankful for. We just need to keep our eyes open. Have a wonderful blessed Christmas Suzanne.
Hugs Marion
Suzanne, Your card is lovely. Beautiful embossing and colors on Tilda. This year I am most thankful that my dad's health has improved and that my son (USMC) is home for Christmas this year.
ReplyDeleteThere is something really special about those Tilda stamps. They bring such fun into a card. She is just precious and full of light in YOUR card. Your colors jump! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful for my husband and three children they are such a blessing from God. God is amazing with all he has given us and I am thankful to him most of all. I am also thankful I discovered stamping this year; My husband might disagree.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! The detail in your coloring is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteFirst I want to say how beautiful your card is. I love the colors and all the accents.
ReplyDeleteI am truly thankful for so many things. I have not found work but God has provided us with what we need, especially since my husband is disabled and being home is where I need to be - I also have been able to have time to help my sister who is struggling with her disabilities.
Your card is absolutely stunning! Besides the normal family and everyday things I am thankful for, I am thankful for the connections that the internet has provided and the willingness of so many talented people to share their works of art and the friendships made!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Suzanne and wishing for you and yours a Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year!
Suzanne, Your card is amazing! I just love your work and visit your blog often!
ReplyDeleteThis year I am most thankful for my family.

ReplyDeleteGreat to know about another good book! I will have to check her out :)
And I want to enter for the candy, so.....my answer: I'm most thankful for my family and their health! I hope you have a wonderful holiday.
Best,
Elaine
I am most thankful for the little baby who came to earth so many years ago. I am thankful for the life that he has given me, for the blessings of love & family and for the promise of eternal life.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you all this Christmas!
Sorry that this is your last Christmas card, but you went out with a big bang! Tilda is just stunning & your coloring is to die for!
ReplyDeleteI'm most thankful for my family. I'm 50 & disabled & I have to depend on them way to much. They never complain & always go above & beyond for me. They even let me know when they see great sales on rubber or paper products...now that's amazing since neither of my girls have time for crafting!
Thanks so much for the totally awesome blog candy! This is very generous & whoever wins will surely be on top of the world when this package comes!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Hello Scrapbitz: g I just found your blog from watchin the copic markers on you-tube and I'm going to stay forever. Your christmas card is breathtaking. I love blues. I am so grateful for still having a job, my family, grandchildren, and my pom puppy "Kandi" and for having found this card-making hobby with some of the most talented people on the net. I am so glad you teach how to paint with the copic markers. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Denise.
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne, another beautiful creation!! What am I most thankful for, mm first my immediate family have been fairly healthly this year and secondly for my crafting family that just keeps extending, just so love visiting as many blogs as possible, leaving a few words and gaining so much inspiration from them all, it is just so wonderful to be in touch with so many people around the world, whom all have many things in common. So miss the snow hope you manage to get out and buy some food, I am sure hubby isn't too cold shovelling snow. Wishing you and yours all the best for 2010, take care AnnetteX:)
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to find my hubby just a bit over a year ago. We've had a hard year medically; I had to have surgery in March and DH had a 6 way heart bypass in November. We have both made it through and health is improving. I am very greatful for my new family and our continued good health. Everything else is just a bonus.
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt, I am most thankful that JESUS has healed me of cancer! Without His presence and my faith in Him, I would simply perish...
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great opportunity to tell others why we are thankful! What about YOU? What are you most thankful for?
Love and hugs ~ Lori
Hi Suzanne,
ReplyDeletelove your card, it's beautiful as allways!!
I'm thankful for many things. We are all 5 in good health, have a good job, a nice house, we can travel during the holidays each year, my kids are doing fine at school, we have lot's of good friends, ...... There's so many to be thankful for!
Have a nice christmas with your family!!
Hugs,
Jolita
I am very thankful for the beautiful family we have and our health. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year. And I just want to thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteThankful that my little sister who has terminal cancer has made it to see xmas. And thankful that I have a fantastic family and have health - not wealth - and lots of happiness. Can I pass all this onto everyone who reads this post..Merry Xmas Suzanne. Sarah
ReplyDeleteThis has been a soap box year for us but in everything I can find a blessing from above. In January my husband lost his job after 20 years. We are 3 years from retiring. He did find work in February. This summer I had a couple of surgery's and they came out fine (nothing real serious). In August my 92 year old mother got sick and we lost her the 29 of Sept. Also in Sept. our daughters husband asked her for a divorce and then in Nov. her son developed kidney problems and now is on the list for a transplant. Also right after Thanksgiving, my husband got very sick and was in ICU with pnemonia. He is now much better and we were able to send the oxygen back to the company that brought it. So as unbelievable as this sounds it is the absolute truth. So I think the fact that we can see the blessings would be what I am most thankful for. If I couldn't I could be very bitter. Merry Christmas! 2010 HAS to be better. So much for just plugging along all these years! LOL
ReplyDeleteSuzanne,
ReplyDeleteThank you for offering such lovely blog candy!
I am thankful for my health. I feel truly blessed to be alive after a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in my lung) caused by the birth control pill Yaz.
I am also thankful for a wonderful and supportive husband, family, and friends.
Lauren
I am thankful this season for the "Reason for the Season". Without Jesus Christ, I would have nothing to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI would like an opportunity for the goodies you are giving away. My comment is as follows:
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for so many things…God for salvation, my country for its freedoms, my parents for all their moral values they taught me, my children who have given me memories I will always treasure, and for my husband who is a true friend and treats me with respect, love and like a queen.
Merry Christmas Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteI am so very thankful for my husband. He has been my rock on which I can hold onto during the good and the bad (sickness). I thank the Lord everyday for him as he is my everything and I love him so very much. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary this year and it seems just like yesterday that we were married.
Another gorgeous card! I am most thankful for my family! My husband has health issues but are minor compared to what some go through and I am grateful for that.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I hardly comment, I love your blog and stalk it every day, hehe.
ReplyDeleteIts ironic how I'm thankful for something that causes me to be in pain every day of my life, but I am.
I was raised by my grandmother and this past June she lost a battle that she has been fighting for almost 20 years - cancer.
And although I miss her like crazy, and I wish that she was here with me...I'm thankful to God that she is not suffering anymore and that she's looking after me from heaven.
I'm also thankful for my family, because they are the strenght that keeps me going.
Happy Season, Suzanne! Love everything you do.
Thanks for this candy! I love to see what beautiful creations you have made to dazzle us!
ReplyDeleteI am most grateful this year for a Lord God who loves me unconditionally and with a love unimaginable to me. I am so grateful that he listens to and responds to my prayers. I've had many prayers answered - in just the last few months...it amazes me and humbles me. I am truly thankful for what makes this season possible...Christ!
Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!
What a beautiful card! I am most THANKFUL for the health and happiness of my family. In these tough times we are truly blessed with each other.
ReplyDeleteHave a VERY merry Holiday Season!
Wow, Suzanne...these are all amazing people. As I stated in my e-mail to you.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my family.
Blessings to you and yours !!!!
Merry Christmas! I am most thankful that my boys are 5 and 6 years old this year and are understanding what Christmas is about. They attend catholic school and the Christmas story is incorporated into the curriculum. But they are also old enough to really help with decorating and baking and wrapping!! :) I'm also thankful we haven't had any snow, besides a dusting, here in Canada yet!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for my family, health, a steady job and wonderful friends!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday season!
I would have to say my family. I'm so blessed!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win and Merry Christmas!
I am most thankful for my 7 kids & my husband who has a wonderful job to support us all. And for this site so I can make their scrapbooks look much better.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne I first want to wish you and your family the best Christmas ever! You are such a Dear, and so very talented. I love your blog and everything you make.
ReplyDeleteI am most thankful for the fact that my family, Children and Grandchildren are all healthy and Happy and that we will be spending time together. It means so much to me! I love them all so Dearly.
Thank you for all you do for us and all that you share, you are so very Fun and Gracious to share so much of your art and your self.
May your year ahead be blessed and happy,
Cynde
I am thankful that my latest medical tests all came back good with no signs of cancer.
ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous card! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm most grateful that my son is happily married... for 3 days now. The wedding was wonderful. I'm also grateful that my daughter (who is terminally ill) was able to attend her older brother's wedding. She was a bride's maid and rolled (in her wheelchair) down the isle being pushed by a groomsman whom she has a little crush on. What a marvelous night! Now it's time to start thinking about Christmas! hehe! I'm so grateful that my daughter is stable and can spend some special time with family that came into town. :)
Thanks for the chance to win. I have to say I am thankful for so much, I don't really know what's at the top. I am thankful I am a Christian first off, and there's my family, my health, my job, I am so blessed. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI am most thankful for my health and the health of my family. I went through a terrible time with depression right after my mom died and it held me captive for nearly 5 years. Thanks to a wonderful family, I got the help I needed and I'm so much better and able to be the mom and wife I'm supposed to be. L. Zurek lczurek@comcast.net
