A Pansy-Rose!!

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday to you all! I hope you had a fabulous weekend--the weather here was beautiful and I took the day off on Sunday to really enjoy it. I took a book and magazine outside, sat in the sun and just read the day away--it was FABULOUS!! Today and yesterday though--the weather is kinda icky, gray and raining but the weekend is supposed to be good. The grayness affects my mojo I think, I don't get as much done when it's yucky out--it sucks the energy outta me, lol!

I did do some organizing in my craft room which is always good--after I work for days & hours on end my room tends to look like a major hurricane has struck it, lol!  I ordered these fabulous glass penny candy jars online to hold and organize all my paper flowers---I got eight of them, but I need 2 more cuz' I have some overflow, lol!  You can see the photos below, but I got them for $10 a pc online and I love them!  They sit on my black hutch that sits across from my desk--I love the organization and the pretty colors staring back at me!  Also below is a pic of my new flatscreen tv and printer which were Mom's Day Gifts that I'm loving--I love that they are black and match my room, lol!

My Pics:

-7 Kids College Fund has some new goodies in stock that you might want to see!  New Penny Black cutie-pie stamps here, NEW Cosmo Cricket paper pads here (Delovely is sooo mine) and NEW Sizzix Impression Plates here.

-Thanks to everyone who pre-registered for Class 4 at the Color Me Creative Classroom--$3 from every Class 4 pre-registration went to the Unicef fund, along with my contribution and Susana's contribution.  So the total was $340 which I'm very thrilled with and the receipt for the donation is below!  If you want to take Class 4 it is up and ready and ongoing--see the deets here!

A Love Rose--err Pansy!!

Today I'm sharing an elegant card that literally took me 15 mins to make--it's a small miracle I tell ya, lol!  That never happens very often, but when you take a beautiful image that is easy to color up, some high impact colors, beautiful trims and papers it's not hard.  This image is from I Brake For Stamps!

This image is called "Small Love Rose Post" but I think it looks more like a pansy so that's the way I colored it, lol! (this comes in a larger image as well)  Remember if you buy anything from I Brake For Stamps use the coupon code "SAVE10SUZANNE" to receive 10% off your entire order!!   I love that pansy have cute faces and the purple and yellow ones are my fave, so I colored this up to match (V17,V15,V12,Y000,Y11,Y23).  The dp is from Kaisercraft's "Lilac Avenue" paired with PTI cs.  I used a beautiful die from Marianne D (I get mine HERE from Bunny-Zoe's store overseas)--these dies are so detailed and lovley, you use them just like a nestie.  I took two of them and stacked them on top to create this lovely pendant look in black behind the image.

It's hard to tell here, but I put diamond glaze on top of the petals and then stickles around the stamp image and in the center for some bling!  Maybe next time I'll color it up like a rose, maybe not, hee hee!

See ya back here tomorrow!

    Hugs to you,

  10. Love those jars and you are one lucky duck for the new printer and flat screen. I'm drooling. LOL! Gorgeous card as always. Thanks for sharing it!

  11. Pretty card and pretty image.

  12. Love your card and, of course, fell in love with the new die. I went to the website and would like to know if you have used these dies with Papertrey Ink or SU cs? If so, how do they cut with the heavier cs? I have a couple of nesties that don't cut out really good with the heavier cs and didn't want to invest in more if they didn't cut good.

  13. I love your storage jars, Suzanne! How pretty!

  14. Suzanne, you are unreal!!! 15 minutes??? I'd have spent just 15 minutes looking at a bunch of stuff trying to decide what to do, much less making it!!! You are unbelievable, as the song says....... And, the card is magnificent to boot!!!

I appreciate all your lovely comments and taking the time to stop by! hugz,Suzanne
