Leprechauns!!

Oh Happy Monday everyone! Did ya have a good weekend? I sure did--I got a lot of projects completed, visited with friends (waving hi to Marti, Amy & Tiffaney) and went to the movies with the family! We went to see "Race To Witch Mountain" which was my absolute favorite Disney movie & books when I was younger. But I will tell you that you should think twice about taking children under ten, because it is violent and very intense. I was sitting on the edge of my seat & jumping the whole time--very, very intense for sure! Not like the old movie at all--but I did really like it, it was very good! Just not the type of movie I would recommend for younger kids :o)

I've only got one project to share today (gasp, lol)---I was supposed to be sharing a Whiff of Joy preview for you but I didn't get my pictures taken in time :o( So I'll share a peek with ya tomorrow for sure! And if you didn't check out my Easter Blog Hop Projects yesterday, make sure and scroll down to the next post to see :o)

This is my ode to St. Patty's Day using one of the cute Alva images from Magnolia-licious! Of course for this project she is really a lil' leprechaun ok--hee hee! She's such a fun stamp cuz' you can color her & use her for any holiday project--I love her!! I picked up this fun green mug from the $1 Spot at Target a few weeks ago, knowing that it would make an awesome gift holder! I wrapped it with dp from SU, ribbons from PTI and filled with green Jellybelly's of all flavors--YUM! This fun gift is going to a good friend of mine, who just might be a lil' Irish :o)

A close-up to show you her fun red hair and the Angel Wingz Shimmerz I used on her to make her super sparkly!

And a close-up of the sentiment which is from Studio G (from Marti's store)--Studio G has such great sentiments in each set and since they're only $1 its a great deal all around! I stamped over the sentiment lightly with a swirl from the same set & inked the edges!

Hope ya liked it! I'll be back tomorrow with a long post for ya--I've got a St. Patty's Day project for ya tomorrow, a Whiff of Joy sneak peek and a Greeting Farm project too!

hugz,

Suzanne

Woodland Adventures!!

Thank Goodness its Friday cuz' it was a LONGGG week, lol! Hubby and kids have off Monday & Tuesday so we have a nice, long weekend ahead of us--yahoo! I'm sure you all heard the news yesterday about that awful plane crash in NYC--thank god no one was hurt but this DOES NOT help me feel good about flying to CHA next week. I was already super nervous & now I'm thinking of ways to not go---eeekkkkk---I don't know if I'm gonna make it, but we'll see. My friends will kill me if I back out now---oh that's even scarier, LOL! Anyway, I'll stop talking about my plane fears (at least for now, hee hee)!

If you haven't entered for my Valentine Blog Candy--you have until tonight at midnite (EST) to do that right HERE! Winner will be announced tomorrow :o)

Alrighty then, let's move on to cuteness for the day! Diana sent me these new elf images from Magnolia-licious and this one is "Alva with Flower" and oh my how I love these elfs. I have an elf fetish I think cuz' I just love 'em all, lol! I paired her up (very appropriately me thinks) with the new DCWV "The Green Stack" which is made of 70% recycled papers and the patterns are perfect for elf images--love this pack, DCWV can do no wrong!! I purposefully left off a sentiment so I could use this for any occasion. That cute lil' ribbon charm is by Blue Moon and you can get them at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design--this is in the medium heart assortment but she has TONS of choices. They're all so fun its hard to pick just a few...!

This close-up shows all the Shimmerz I used (golden wheat & angel wingz) on her. I used the Shimmerz on the embossed flowers behind her. If you haven't tried the Shimmerz yet you really should...they're so sheer that you can put a nice coat over your colored image and they dry so fast, I love 'em! I also used distressed stickles on her leafy skirt border and the flower center. Looking at this card just makes me feel cheerful & happy--I love the brightness of it all & hope you do too!

Alrighty, I'm off to breakfast for a friend's birthday and then getting my hair done---(can't show any roots at CHA ya know, lol)! Hope you all have a great weekend!

hugz,
Suzanne
