Happy Friday Friends--YAY is all I can say, hee hee! My favorite day of the week I tell ya (next to getting to sleep in on Saturday mornings, lol)! The holidays are quickly approaching, are you ready? I'm not ready at all, LOL--gotta start getting organized so I CAN be ready. That means lots of........yes, LISTS, hee hee---I'm going to make myself a pretty LIST notebook next week to keep me on track for gifts, parties & schedules so I don't lose track of anything. The thought of all the things that have to get done before Christmas is overwhelming, so I have to approach it on a day-by-day basis ya know. It takes me AT LEAST 3 days to get the house (both inside & outside) decorated, then there's Xmas cookies, Xmas luncheons, presents to buy & wrap & on, and on.....ACKKKKK, help I'm drowning, hee hee! This year I'm having a ladies luncheon again which has been a tradition and I'm also THINKING about having a crafter's Open House for anyone who is near & dear and loves to craft to come & just meet each other and have some fun! Haven't figured out all the details, but we'll see..... Okay, moving on today I've got two big releases to share with you all!
So today is the BIG Release Day for the fabulously cute Victoria Case for SCACD "Winter Wonderland" stamps! These are such cuties that there is sure to be one or two or many that touch your heart! Today I've used "BFF's" (best-friends-forever) which touches my heart cuz' you know how much I love animals & I have 5 kitty babies myself! The dp is by SEI "Winter Song" which I sooooooo LOVE, paired w/ SU cs. I used my Martha Stewart border punch to make a double layer lace-like effect on the bottom and for the corner treatments, made another fun hatpin and added some pearls as well. The double bow was made w/ one of my favorite tools the Bow Easy--if you don't have this, it is soooooo worth the $5 to buy it, I use it a ton (my video on my sidebar will show you how it works-easy peasy)!
She's colored with Copics (R27,R24,R22,R20 & BG72,BG11,BG00) and then I added stickles to the stocking and her trim on her nightgown. And, yes I did break out my Sparkle Fluff to make her slippers soft & fluffy (LOVE this stuff--so easy to use w/ a good tacky glue)! She also got some diamond glaze on her eyes--I like that realistic shine! Now make sure and hop around to the DT's blogs (on my sidebar) today to see their beautiful projects with these cuties and of course you can buy them all right HERE! (they will be up at 9 am EST today)
This lil' cutie is entered in the "Bling It" Challenge from Stamp Something as well (thankx Dianne)--I love challenges & bling is my FAVORITE, hee hee! This card also fits into the "Just Us Girls" Challenge which is to use aqua, red & cream (perfect for this SEI paper)!!
New Release from Pink Cat Studio's Digi Store
When I first saw these owls I knew I had to make a baby card with one--how perfect are they for so many occasions. This lil' owl is called "Cuddles" (even the names are cute, hee hee) and she's colored with Copics. I used for the very first time a Quickie Glue Pen--I've had like 3 new ones sitting around & never used them--GASP! Where have I been, I LOVE IT--so I glittered around my oval using it (and if you're reading the fine print here, hee hee & leave me a comment today, someone lucky will win one courtesy of me!!! :o) I stamped my sentiment (from PTI's "Mega Mixed Messages") in my Glue Pad and then glittered that as well. Added some pearls and a bow made with my Bow Easy again and finished her off with some diamond glaze on her big eyes! So cute!
This next lil' owl is called "Squirt"--I love the flower on her and all the stitching that Melissa added to these stamps. I used the same papers but change up my layout and added some fun PTI buttons and tied bows with my Scrappers Floss. The sentiment is from the same PTI set and I added a few stickles to her wings & the leaves. I just adore these owls. Now hop on over to the Pink Cat Studio Digi Store HERE to see the rest of the digi stamps and all the DT's fabulous projects. I will have another card up tomorrow using a really FUN image that was so much fun for me to work on, so check back w/ me tomorrow!
See ya tomorrow!
hugz,
Suzanne
