Tubby Time!!
Today I’m sharing my project for the Copic Creations Challenge Blog—the theme this time is to use PINK!! Head on over there to see the challenge DT creations and join in on the fun too! Well yeah I got carried away a bit with wanting to have a black tub, LOL but I did use pink in the bubbles and bathtub feet You know when you get an idea in your head and you just GOTTA do it, LOL, yeah that was me! This reminds me of Alexa when she was little—she loved bubble baths and would stay in them for hours. I have a picture of her with bubbles in her hair (she was about 1.5 yrs old) and she’s holding her Baby Bop toy up and having a conversation with it—I always tell her it will be in her wedding day slideshow, LOL! So cute!
I’m entering this sweetie into the following challenges:
Alphabet Challenge Blog (P for Pastels)
Clearly I Stamp (pattern paper)
Frosted Designs (flourishes)
Inspire Me Fridays (anything goes)
Jelly Park Challenge (die cuts/punches)
The beautiful image is another fabulous one by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD “Peekers 2 Collection” called “Bubble Bath Peeker”—isn’t she adorable! The papers are from Best Creations “Bird Song” – these paper pads are triple the size of other 6x6 pads and have both double sided and glitter papers, I just love ‘em! The dies behind the image and swirls are Marianne Designs dies as is the black flower that I mounted on a Prima and topped with a bow, black flower and Bella Bauble. I added a nice coat of Diamond Glaze to the tub to make it shiny! The bath bubbles got a mix of Stickles and Diamond Glaze. Copics used (my close up pic did not turn out well, sorry, and its 3 am as I type this—eek): C9 thru C1, R21,R20,R11,R00, E11,E00.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and see you back here on Monday! Busy week again next week--what's new 'eh LOL! ;)
I adore the way you used Black in this design. Very striking. I am reading "The Help" as I writ. In fact I just read the chocolate pie part. Never trust Mexican Vanilla.
ReplyDeleteWOW, she's so cute!!! I love the way you color! And yes, in Canada we also have Monday off!

Thank you so much for sharing @ Inspire Me Fridays, this week!
Your card is just adorable, Suzanne; so precious!! Those "Peeker" stamps are just soooo cute and irresistible.
ReplyDeleteI too read The Help and saw the movie; loved both!! It was one of my favorite books and the movie was wonderful, but I cried, even though I knew what was coming. They did a great job with it. Have a wonderful time with your family and enjoy the concert, Whoot Whoot!!!
Fab card! I love the colors. Thanks so much for playing along over at Frosted Designs.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet bathtub image. Great coloring! Thanks for joining us at the Alphabet Challenge Blog.
ReplyDeleteDarling image and design, Suzanne! Thanks for playing along in CIC35 :D
ReplyDeleteI'm usually the silent one, show up to read your blog and never leave a comment. With you talking about "the help" I just had to leave this with you....
ReplyDeleteI work at a Credit Union and I told my boss (we all saw the movie together) that instead of serving DD munchkins on paydays we could also serve chocolate pie to our "bestest" members....
Aww this is so so cute. I love what you have done...Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us at Frosted Designs this week. I hope that you enjoyed the challenge.
