Butterfly Smiles!!

Hello everyone & Happy Thursday to you all!  The Ides of March are soon upon us but I'm thinking it will all be good, LOL.  We get to turn the clocks forward in a few days (yay) and I'm so excited--my favorite time of year.  That means more sunlight, longer feeling days and spring is on its way--hurray!  I have LOTS of fun stuff coming and lots of work to do to get it right and finished on time (sending an SOS LOL).  But my Color Me Creative Classroom is turning 1 YEAR OLD on March 15th and starting on the 15th there will be a whole week of contests/challenges and BIG PRIZES.  You will not want to miss out on the fun that is for sure so stay tuned for all that.  And then starting in April we will be celebrating the 1 Year Birthday of our magazine "Through the Craftroom Door"---there will be a fun week of prizes/challenges to celebrate that too!  So lots of fun for you all to join in on and I hope you will.  Everyone is welcome to both sites for the parties---the main sites are open to everyone!!

And I just have to give a whoop-whoop to my hubby who got a huge promotion at work that he has worked sooooo hard for and totally deserves!  I'm soooo proud of him!  And just because I love him so much I must share a picture of the "Senior Vice President" with his favorite "cat-dog" or otherwise known as our Garfield cat, curled up while I was away.  Soooooooo this is what he does when I'm traveling, hmmmmmmmmmmmm?  LMBO!

Butterfly Smiles

Today I'm sharing a pretty cheerful spring card with ya'll---makes me happy just to look at it, how 'bout you?  I love these darlings from the NEW Butterfly Dreams Collection available HERE at Magnolia-licious!  This cutie is called "Tilda with Hawaii Flower" and I think she is beyond adorable with those butterflies floating around.

Yellow just makes a gal happy KWIM--it's so cheery you can't but help SMILE all over the place.  These papers are from the new mini (6x6) K&Co paper pads---I'm thrilled they've come out with smaller patterns, yay!  This paper pad is called "Julianne" and I love the vintage feel of these.  I used a Verve sketch for part of my card--I loved the circle element at the bottom.  The flowers are a mix of Prima hydrangeas and Wild Orchid.  That super cute sentiment is new from PTI and it reads "Thinking of You and Smiling"---awwwwww doesn't that make you just melt!  The butterflies are 2 separate MS punches and then I attached the two together after punching from different colored cs and then put a layer of Stickles on them for sparkle.

And she's colored with Copics using Y26,Y23,Y21 & Colorless Blender/W1,W00/E11,E00,R20/E25,E31,E50.  Then I sponged a blue cloudy sky behind her.  Some stickles on her dress trim, butterflies and flower in her hair.  Her shoes also got some diamond glaze on them.
