Hey Chickie!

Happy Thursday to you all!  Hope you're in the cool A/C today getting crafty or relaxing a bit :)  I'm taking the kids and their friends to the pool again today for a few hours--while I enjoy reading by the pool, as hot as it's been it's been a little bit not-enjoyable, lol!  And then I've got to do some chores and finish laundry including the dreaded grocery store.  As much as I enjoy Wegmans I don't really like grocery shopping--like laundry it's an endless chore and I can think of so many other things I'd rather be doing, lol!  Riley is leaving bright & early Saturday morning with my mom to go to New York and I have to finish his laundry--while this in itself is not a huge event it is a regular and daily occurrence!  He is always dirty--lol--I can never recycle his clothes and he usually goes thru 2 outfits a day especially during the summer when he's horribly sweaty--ewww!  So I'm constantly washing his stuff--it's never done, hee hee--if you have boys you know what I mean.  He's 12 now and it's been like this since he was born so does it ever end??  And trust you me, he is NOT ready to run a washing machine yet, I promise you that!

So what is your worst chore or the one you just DESPISE???  I'd love to hear about it and think of this as a non-judgemental whining & complaining area for the day---just let it all out!!!   And for a great twist--the BEST whiner/complainer (IMO) will get a $25 gift certificate to spend at 7 Kids College Fund!!  Drown your sorrows and complaints in some new craft supplies okay :)

NewsBitz:

-7 Kids College Fund has all the NEW Spellbinders in the store for pre-order HERE!  I already pre-ordered a few of my faves (love the beaded ovals and lacy squares)!

-Our magazine "Through the Craftroom Door" will be putting out a special Holiday Issue in October and we are looking for submissions galore!  We want any & all projects that are fall or winter holiday themed (sewing, papercrafts, scrapbooking, jewelry, etc.).  Deadline is September 4th--all submissions must never have been published on the web or any other paper publication!  We'd love to see what you have created--email them to craftdoor@yahoo.com with the subject line HOLIDAY!

Hey Chickie!!

This card was created for two reasons today--the first is for a fun Dare to Get Dirty Challenge on SCS by Dirty Girl Kelly (kmahaney on SCS) & you can see details of her challenge HERE (if you are a fan club member or want to be one)!  The Dirty Girl challenges run thru this Saturday and there are lots of fun ones if you want to take part--including mine which you can see HERE!

Secondly this card was made for Paper Romance--they are having a challenge Thursday today and you can find the details HERE (I did not follow the challenge, I goofed, hee hee), but wanted you to know about it!

This is another fabulous stamp by Bildmalarna called "Mimosa's Chickens" and although Paper Romance doesn't have this stamp in stock (perhaps you can ask the fabulous Amy if she will) she has LOTS of the other to-die-for cuties HERE!  The purty papers that I used are from Webster's Pages that you can find HERE.  I used some more of my fave Marianne Designs dies (see here) for the scrolls and the border was done with a MS punch--I love the little border on the scallops of this punch, so cute!  To finish it off I tied a bow with my Bow Easy and topped it with a PTI button (ribbon & sentiment is PTI as well).

Isn't she a cutie?  I colored her with Copics and then I went over every color with either E50 or W00 to mute the colors and make them a bit more vintage looking.  Her shoes and seeds got a coat of diamond glaze and some stickles on her dress for sparkle.

Hope you enjoyed the project today--I'll be back tomorrow with a fun project and fun Blog Hop!! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Let's see I need to pick one thing I don't enjoy doing?
I have a pet peeve I guess. My honey is pretty helpful but almost acts like I "should" take care of the house unless I ask for help.I hate when I make a dinner or he has a snack, he will bring the dishes to the counter in the kitchen next to the dishwasher and leave them there with dirty napkins whatever. How hard would it be to put it "in" the dishwasher.
I have shown him several times how to open the door. It isn't hard at all.
Oh well he could be worse. Thanks for the unload.
Hey Chickie that is a cute card sweetie!

  2. Oh that is an easy one!! It would be my full time, Monday -Friday job!! How I wish I could stay home and do what I really love- craft!! I would even, happily, ok maybe not happily, fit in a little housework. I have a commission for 75-100 wedding invitations to get finished and work is interferring!!!

I need to talk about your card... when I saw it I said "Que coisa mais lindinha do mundo!!!:)) " this means more or less: "This is the most cute girl I ever see" I looooooove it!! and as always your creations are divine!!
    Have a wonderful weekend.

  5. Well I have been told MANY a time that I am the worst whiner and complainer ever. That nothing makes me happy. Now I don't think that's really true, but that's what dh says. lol. I guess I complain the MOST when I have cleaned ALL day in the kitchen and SOMEONE always comes in WHILE I am cleaning it or RIGHT after I finish, I don't understand why they can't at least clean up after themselves... Do they have to eat as soon as I get it cleaned up? And the laundry, it used to irritate me to no end, as soon as I got all the laundry done up, someone would fill it up before I even got the last load done. I would say, I am going to do the laundry now, if you have any dirty clothes in your rooms, get it OUT NOW...but I love your card Suzanne. hugs

  6. My worst daily chore not be to gross but it is...Wiping Hinnies(did I spell that right?). OMG I have a 2, 4 and 6 year old that is a lot of wiping. Now my 6 year old tries but it isn't always a great job so I like to be thorough. And it is always at the worst times, eating, cooking when I am in the shower. If it were once a day per child it would be ok but oh no it is always 2 or more. Thanks for listening it is time to go take care of my chore, hehe.

  7. Cleaning bathrooms is my most despised chore. A houseful of boys and their friends. YUK! Hope I don't offend but I just saw this sign and it made me chuckle.
Our aim is to keep this bathroom clean Gentlemen - your aim will help, stand closer it's shorter than you think!

  8. I have to agree, laundry and grocery shopping. There's only 2 of us in the house, but it never fails, as soon as they're done, there's more to do. I can't quite figure out how that happens!
    I LOVE the cards

  9. I have to say the worst chore, and I just said it today to the check out person, GROCERY SHOPPING. Whether I do it alone, which is hard for me physically, or my husband does it with me, its still aggravating. Has anyone ever counted how many times you touch the item from the shelves? 7 TIMES. That's just not right!!! Why no one has come up with a better way of shopping I'll never know. Thanks for listening and Suzanne I just love that Bildamara card. Love your colors. Gotta get me some more.

  10. Ok, mine today would be dealing with peaches. I mean I love fresh peaches but our tree has an over abundance. It is just too hot to pick them and my skin gets all itchy after picking them. Then I have to peel and pit and get them into the freezer. Want some peaches?

  11. As always, I love your card. Your coloring is just amazing. I have learned so much from your you-tube videos.

My least favorite chore is cleaning dishes. Which isn't so bad most of the time because my husband washes them and loads them in the dishwasher. I really hate when the sink gets soak, especially from soaking dishes. It absolutely grosses me out! The worst part is that I am home on summer vacation and my husband is working so I feel guilty and sometimes do the dishes, even though I still have our two children to take care of and plenty of crafting to do!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hi Suzanne! I love your blog and am learning SO MUCH. I just ordered my first copics today so I have been watching alot of your videos.

I have to say that my least favorite chore is grocery shopping. I hate, hate, hate, hate it. It seems like it takes hours to get through the store. And if that isn't bad enough you have to jockey for position with the million other people who also hate the chore. Worse...when you are done shopping you really aren't done because you have to unload the groceries once you get home. I always find that something has spilled and it NEVER FAILS...I always forget something. Even with the most meticulous list. Thanks for letting me rant. ;)

  13. I LOVE how you wonderfully you colored Little Mimosa's hair...I find her hair, very difficult to color! I kind of gave up using my Bildy stamps, because the hair was such a struggle! You always make it look perfect! :)

    ----
Moving on to boys and laundry -- LOL! Based on my experience of raising two boys, they are incredible when it comes to laundry and dirt. My youngest sometimes showers 3 times a day and that is three outfits, plus a ton of towels. My hampers seem to always be full and I do laundry every day!! You would think I had ten people here..not three! LOL!!

To me the the worst part about laundry is folding it and putting it all away, especially taking those hot clothes out of the dryer and doing all the folding...when it 90+ degrees....even with the AC, I have a melt down!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. My worst chore has to be washing my daughters softball uniform during the summer. You would think that a girl wouldnt sweat & smell that bad! Not this one! LOL I guess when you play up to 5 games in one day your uniform & socks are bound to cause your Mom to faint because of the smell! Those babies definetly go in the wash as soon as she hits the door.

  15. Such a sweet card and I love how you colored her with soft colors! Well, I like everything you color! Hugs, Cami

  16. omg can I just tell you how much I HATE grocery shopping. I love to eat & cook but hate shopping! I try to stretch out our groceries so I can wait till the last minute. Also I try and shop early in the mornings to avoid lines and running into chatty kathy's! lol ok even if i dont win your yummy candy I feel the vent was a prize in itself.

  17. First-beautiful card, your coloring is such an inspiration! Second~~I realize this is not a chore to some, but at my age, I MUST exercise, so going to the gym and lifting weights (& aerobics) is anathema to me! I HATE IT~~but my days of wiping hinies are all done at least! Take pity on the poor girl who has three small children in a prior post!

  18. I hate unloading the dishwasher and putting away the dishes! That's really weird! Add that to grocery shopping and I have gotten to the point that I don't like to cook anymore. Maybe I just don't like that room at all!! Love your card Suzanne!

  19. There are a few chores I hate. I'm not someone who enjoys cleaning but I know there are people out there who do. They need therapy! I do it because I have to. The chore I really hate is laundry. I have a two story house so I make way too many trips up and down those stairs. Putting all that laundry away is a royal pain in the butt. Have I mentioned how much I hate laundry? I put it off until I HAVE to do it and then of course it's a bigger job than it should be. By the way........I HATE LAUNDRY.

    ReplyDelete
  20. OMG - you sweep and mop and cook and wash dishes and dust and vacuum and 6 WEEKS LATER YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN...giggle.

In reality, what I dislike the most is grocery shopping - somehow I manage to pick the day and time that everyone in the county shows up too. Crowded isles, shopping carts banging your heels, sacks that rip before you can get them home - and then YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FIX FOR DINNER!! Go figure

    ReplyDelete
  21. My least favorite chore is washing all the windows after my husband decides to powerwash the house. Last year I not only washed the windows (11 of them in one room, and that includes digging and cleaning all the debris on the inside sills), but I also decided to wash and iron all the curtains and drapes too. My arms were so sore by the time I finished up, at around 7:00 at night. I'll never tackle that project all in one day again!

    ReplyDelete
  22. DAWN-My husband does the same thing! He's never seen the inside of the dishwasher. It annoys the @#$% out of me! I asked him what it is his mother did to him to make him afraid of putting dishes, glasses etc in the sink. He rinses out his glass, coffee mug etc. and puts it on the counter. Drives me nuts. Ladies - do the future wives of America a favor and break your boys in right. Your future daughter in laws will thank you-lol.

  23. The colors in your Hey Chickie card are so pretty and soft!

It's a toss up between making dinner and grocery shopping for my two least favorite chores. I'm terrible about planning ahead for meals and dinnertime is not my favorite time of day because I don't like cooking. Because I hate planning meals so much, I end up in the dreaded grocery store about every other day...running in to get something quickly for dinner. I would love so much to have a chef to cook and grocery shop for me. :)

  24. Lorraine B, I tried with my son, but I think it's in their genes! My MIL always says about my hubby "I didn't raise him that way..." LOL. My worst chore is doing ANY chore over and over and over. Clean the kitchen after breakfast, then clean it again after lunch and then again after dinner. And it all starts again tomorrow! No one picks up after themselves in my house. I go to school online and when I'm "sitting" and going to school, they all think they can sit and do nothing. It drives me nuts! Whew, thanks for letting me vent.

Suzanne, as always, your cards are so amazing. I love looking at them for inspiration.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Suzanne, I don't mind most of the chores but for some reason I've never liked emptying the dishwasher. Now I don't mind loading it! Now the windows don't need to be washed very often but that is another of my least fav' things to do.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well, thanks for letting us whine!!
After 50 years of marriage and 4 kids and grandchildren, I totally HATE to cook dinner. I've run out of recipes that EVERYONE likes at the same time. Alot of times I can sweet talk my hubby into cooking and I just love when he does. I'd rather clean the kitchen after dinner instead of cooking. Oh, it's dinner for myself, hubby, one son and wife, 2 grandaughters and 2 boyfriends (most of the time) and a lot of times I don't know WHO IS COMING TO DINNER!!.

    Thanks for listening...

  27. There are so many chores that I despise, but the worst for me is mopping. I know it's fairly easy and doesn't require much still, but I dread it! I'll iron anybody's clothes if they will come over and mop my floors! Anyone? Anyone at all?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I love love that sweet image and card!! I do not have a dish wash or let me rephrase that I am the dish washer so that certainly is at the top of my list but the absolute WORST job is the cat box. That has to be the most foul job around!! I do not do it thats my husbands job. BUT my friend has LOTS of cats and when she goes out of town I take care of her house and that includes cleaning out all 4 of the boxes twice a day!! I HATE doing it!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh your card is beautiful Just stunning. I love the colors it's all beautiful.
I hate dusting. We live in the country and do not have a furnace which I think when we lived in the city did help control dust, but not in the country and having two little dogs surly does not help but them being hair dogs does help some. I always tell people if they come over don't move a thing or if you do place it back where it was so you never know I did not dust that day or week. My DH hates dusting as I do because I have my memories (nick nacks) all over and he hates moving them but he does give it a try now and then for me. He's such a dear and so helpful on all things around the house.

  30. I absolute HATE all housework! I work for house cleaning and in comes my kids (18, 20, and 22) and it looks like I haven't cleaned in a year!! Worst of all is that infernal vacuum cleaner! That thing and I just don't get along, it tends to hook on everything and by the time I'm done I'm sweaty, fussing and cussing!!

  31. It may sound trivial at first~ but I HATE making ice tea. Not even the home brewed kind- but the Lipton powder kind. All you have to do is put 2 scoops into a pitcher of water, but when you must do it all day long, it gets old really quick! Every time I go to the fridge- there is the pitcher, sitting on the counter with nothing in it. And in my mind, I was all ready sipping a cold, from the fridge glass of tea. I even made a rule, that whoever pours the last cup must make it- but since when have teenagers listened to rules?? Especially Iced tea rules??LOL

I hate mail! My husband is a letter carrier so the last thing he wants to do when he comes home is open the mail. I can never seem to get it all taken care of and I always have a pile on the desk in the kitchen. I have tried so many different organization methods but none of them have helped for a long time.

  34. What a darling card...put together beautifully. You are an inspiration and I look forward to reading your blog each day. The chore I hate doing is filling the car with gas. My dear husband sees that I have gas in my car...I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to pump gas! Self service stations did not become a "thing" until after we were married.

  35. Love your card. The coloring is

    I hate grocery shopping. Shopping
part is not so bad...it;s the

    putting everything away. Even more
    miserable in bad weather.
    Enjoy your weekend.

  37. I love this card Suzanne...when I saw that little tiny pic I had to stop by and see it BIGGER! OMGosh, it's sooo pretty!
About the chore, can i say everything? lol Here's the deal, I've been married for 9yrs & my hubby has always been pretty helpful...until a few months ago I noticed he hadn't done anything to help me in a while and I asked him to do something and of course he complained and I said" You haven't lifted a finger to help in like 2 months" he actually told me "Yeah, I don't do housework anymore, it's not my job" Can you believe the nerve! I have 4 kids aged 7,6,4&1 and I'm supposed to clean up after all of them, myself, and him...and listen to him complain how it's not perfect! Ok, so done with that rant...thanks for listening, hopefully my hubby will straighten out soon. Anyway, I guess I"ll have to go with laundry..did I mention Hubby is in the military and goes thru 3 sets of clothes a day and the oldest of my 3 are boys... I have to do at least 2 loads a day!
    Have a good one!

  38. First let me just say your card here is totally adorable.
Now for a chore I despise (how about all) No the thing I hate the most is cleaning the toilet. Don't ask me why but I've always had an aversion to cleaning the toilet. I mean hey we all know what goes in those things and we get horrible stains from our water in ours which really is just gross. Yuck just talking about it makes me feel a little quesy!

  39. beautiful card as always Suzanne :)
    To answer your question...
I hate cleaning the bathrooms---> my boys' bathroom especially. I made this cute little sign for their bathroom that reads "My aim is to keep this bathroom clean. Your aim will help!" but they seem to ignore my lovely sign!! LOL! Can't wait for them to be old enough to clean it themselves. When they do, I have a feeling their aim may improve ;) Sorry, I hope I didn't gross you out! Big hugs!

  43. ok my worst chore was a toss up between the laundry (which is never ending with 2 girls 6 & 8) or the bathrooms. But cleaning the bathrooms won. 45. OH wow... I love this post, lol!!! I absolutely despise laundry & dishes.... but my oldest just turned 15, and when he decided that his jeans needed ironed before he could wear them, he was taught asap how to do his own laundry!!!

I don't know if this counts for this post, but I hate all the running I do to take my oldest here & there. What drives me really crazy is when he comes & TELLS me I have to take him to such & such place!!!! Drives me absolutely bananas!!!

  46. Well, I don't have to worry about scrubbing toilets or cleaning showers.....DH does that. Planning meals, yup, that's what I can't stand....And mostly that's because when I ask the family for ideas, I get nuthin! if only I had someone to plan my meals and make the shopping list, and maybe fix the meal?

  48. I absolutely detest vacuuming!! I get all hot and bothered and the vacuum cleaner never follows as it is supposed to--it has a mind of it's own and is always dinging up the walls and baseboards. Luckily to protect the house my husband usually rescues me when he hears me vacuuming. I would much rather use a broom!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Let's see - my husband does all the cooking and one of the few +++'s of living in Africa is the abundance of domestic help. So that leaves me time to do my day job and I can craft to my heart's content in the evenings knowing all the chores are done ! I am really very fortunate.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Call me crazy, but I don't mind grocery shopping, putting away the groceries, cooking, the dishes, cleaning toilets or cat boxes, or the laundry. I only have one child, so maybe that makes all the difference?

What I hate is cleaning the bathroom sink that my husband uses. The faucet has a slow drip, and despite using mildew remover/bleach, there is a red gunky mildew that forms only in that one sink. It's really gross especially when combined with those little whiskers from him shaving. ugh. I don't mind scrubbing at the mildew, it is just those little whisker hairs.

Coming in a very close second is dusting. The day after I dust, I can see it starting to collect again and we do use the allergy filters for the furnace. Since dust is mostly made up of dead skin cells, I think that is pretty icky.

Thanks for letting me vent! :)
    Fabulous card (as always!)

  51. Well as a self proclaimed "germaphob" (spelling?) I hate cleaning the bathroom. I want it clean, but I have a had time with the germs. Luckily for me my DH is wonderful about helping. Your card is adorable.

  52. First off this is an AMAZING card hun! I absolutely LOVE it! Love the softness of it! Gorgeous work Suzanne!

As for chores..oooo don't get me started....I think Hubby thinks I am HIS cleaning robot! I hate any type of cleaning...hubby must this the dishes get happy and wash themselves and the toilet dislikes being dirty so it automatically cleans itself...along with the sink and shower! Although my ultimate choir I dislike is laundry! For one...it piles up for 2 weeks before I do it...then I have to go to my in-laws house...as we don't have a washer and dryer in our apartment. So I load up the two laundry baskets into my car...which is taking 2 trip down our stairs hoping I don't trip and fall...then usually lose a sock, or heaven forbid my undies usually along the sidewalk to my car. Drive 2 miles to the in-laws then unload the car...usually tripping on their dog who is so excited to see me...he's a welsh corgie and super cute! Then trip down their basements stairs....wait 2 hours per load...I swear front load washers TAKE FOREVER! Good thing is I usually forget some school paper or book i need to work on my homework...so I am forced *wink wink* to blog surf instead! LOL! Then when I'm done...head on back home and find that lonely sock *hopefully not undies* on the sidewalk! LOL! I'd take your grocery shopping anyday! I'd love to switch errands! :)
    Hugs~ Kim

  54. Emptying the litter box is only second to cleaning my husband's bathroom. That's right, he has his own little toilet/sink box to filthy up on a daily basis. I put off cleaning that thing until I can't stand it anymore (it's in my craft room-decided to use the master bedroom for my craft room-thought it was good idea at the time). I use the other bathroom, in the other part of the house even when I'm 3 feet from HIS bathroom. When I finally do scrape the barnacles and the debris away, and it looks all shiny and purty, he goes and shaves. He'll be the death of me, or the other way around.

  55. Great job on the coloring. Some chores are ok. I don't mind laundry, I just hate putting it away. Dishes are never ending, but still not my least favorite. Dusting drives me crazy, I sneeze with seconds of it, so I try and put it off. But my absolute least favorite is cleaning the toilet, especially with men in the house. Need I say more?

  59. My worst is actually something that I don't even do! It's the ONE thing that I ask of my hubby when it comes to things around the house and that's the TRASH. I can't stand taking out the trash! Everything about it gets to me and it's just something I don't want to have to do. So he agrees that he'll do it, yet every day it seems like I have to say something to him or end up doing it myself and it's GROSS. Yes, I'm a grown woman and I actually enjoy doing housework if you can believe it, but trash is not part of that equation, lol!!! ;)

  64. I have to say vacuuming is my worst chore. First of all, I have had soooo many vacuums and none of them clean very well, which burns me up because they are not cheap. Second, My Bull Terrier, Sophie barks and bites my vacuum making it very hard to do my chore at all. Even when I crate her, she just barks and barks and barks. It just makes it that much more torturous to vacuum!!!!

  65. I really really really hate dusting! I have the urge to hang a sign in my house that says "No, I didn't forget to dust. The Department of Agriculture has just licensed my home as a dust bunny breeding farm. Who am I to fight authority?"

  67. Love your artwork style! My worse chore is cooking dinner. I just don't want to cook. I'm not a bad cook. I just don't want to cook. What sounds good to eat? Do I have everything I need? When was the last time we had it? What's wrong w/just a bowl of cereal? Or, why isn't my dh parked at the table when I do cook & the food is hot? I went to all this trouble & he's going to eat it when it's hot enough to burn his tongue! Then you have to clean the kitchen. Oh joy! Just let the dogs lick the plates! It just takes too much time & effort. I'd rather be stamping. I just don't like to cook!

  68. I agree with those that said mopping. I don't like it and postpone it as much as possible.
On a side note... I lived in Upstate NY for a short time and LOVED Wegman's. I miss it, nothing quite like it here in the Midwest.

  69. What a beautiful card! Love the soft colors :o)

I'm not a fan of most the chores in my house because they are so one sided. Oh, hubby thinks he's fabulous and is such a help but not.so.much! lol He too rinses his dishes and leaves them in the sink, laundry piles up and he leaves his sweaty socks half way turned inside out, so they won't get clean nor will they dry properly. So I have to return his nasty socks to the proper right side out position - it's a smelly job!! But my absolute worst chore is gross...really gross! Cleaning the drain in the shower. I have very long hair, and a husband that likes to spit in the shower. Nuff said?? Yeah, gross!!

  70. omg I think the worst ever chore has just got to be ironing i mean you get stacks of it and I am not one to blame my tools but seriously the iron i swear puts more creases on the clothes once i have started ironing then when i first got it out of the basket if ii had my way I would hire someone in to do it.I myself wish i had the courage to walk out the dor the a raga muffin lol but I just can't so i will be there sometimes for most of the day doing it and i know this is really bad but i have got myself shoving everything into the cuboards once its dry and ironing things when i need them Aaaaarrrggghhhh I do hate it so much its silly i could moan about it all day I say BANISH THE IRON AND IRONING BOARD or get someone else to do it lol
thanks for listening to me moan on
    hugs

  72. I have to say that my hubby is pretty good about cleaning up after himself. The kids & grandies too. I guess. Well.......let's not kid ourselves. My 14 going on 24 granddaughter thinks she has a personal main following her around the house. OY She leaves cups, crumbs, dribbles, a trail of crumbs everywhere. Then there's my aforementioned hubby........while he does pick up his clothes........if he makes toast he never ever ever in this world will wipe the counter. Therefore.......he leaves crumbs that look like ants trailing behind him. LOL Do I see a theme in my house. hahaha Trails everywhere. My dd & oldest dgd (20) are pretty good BUT never ever clean the stove or sink after cooking. OY.....more trails for mom/grandma/wifey/ME to clean up. LOL And why.....pray tell.......is it......that if the dog potties in the house that it's MY JOB to clean it up???? I didn't sign on for this. I didn't even sign on for the pup. LOL
    Okay.......nuff complaining! LOL
Love your card (as per usual) & thanks for letting me vent just a little.
    Happy Trails to you..........
    Huggies ~

  74. BATHROOMS, BATHROOMS, BATHROOMS!!! I hate cleaning bathrooms! Men who can't aim straight leaving splashes on the floor that my male dogs feel they have to cover with their own 'eau de pom'!! Little boys who drag their poopie bums over the toilet seat, leaving the streaks for me!! Pulling gobs of long hair out of the drain that very closely resemble a slimy rat. And don't even get me started about globs of toothpaste in the sink and and spit splatter on the mirror. And does anybody ever think about putting facecloths and towels in the hamper instead of laying on the side of the tub?? Not in my house. Oh, look what you started.....can I run out of room on these comment forms?? ;O)

    Hugs,
    Deb xoxo

  75. I absolutely hate cleaning the BATHROOM. I seem to be the only person in my family who cleans it. I have tried letting it go to see how long it would take before someone else would clean it and the answer is infinity....no one else is every going to clean it. My hubby is pretty good about helping with other chores, but clean the bathroom, forget it. He looks at me like I just asked him to cut off his right arm and says clean the bathroom, ahhh no I don't think so. He doesn't seem to get that he is entirely responsible for the mess in there. He splatters the toothpaste on the mirror, leaves little hairs everywhere from mustache trims and yes I have to say it...I don't miss the bowl when I go potty. So the mess is his, I clean up after myself. So if I haven't made myself clear my answer is THE BATHROOM....and my biggest desire as I am yet again cleaning it is to have a bathroom of my own with a sign that says "NO BOYS ALLOWED".

  76. Those are pretty cards. I love how you colored the lace so you can still see her leg behind it.

My least favorite chore is laundry. I always slop stuff on my shirts & it takes forever to pre-wash it all out & by then my back is hurting. Plus it doesn't always come out, so then I'm annoyed at that.

  77. LMBO oh my I am not even going to try and compete with three hinnies!! I remember those days and it's been over 30 years! But, I take advantage of the availability to whine! I hate cooking and anything that has to do with it. I am married to a man who grinds his own herbs for an every day salad. Or seasons all meat before freezing....no way am I cooking and trying to compete in the kitchen!

    Love the card as always!

  78. Ihate this chore so much I even hate writing about it! This is most disturbing...putting it down for all to see, making me see it in writing and then thinking about it AGAIN! My most unfavorite chore is, drum roll please...paying monthly bills. Ugh!!! Why can't all that money go to stamps, inks, paper, Viva Decor products......why does LIFE have to get in the way of my pursuit of crafting happiness????

  79. I hate hate hate doing any kind of yard work. My hubby usually take care of it, but every now and then he asks for help and I keep procrastinating it till he just goes out and does it himself :-D.
