What's Your Laundry List?!!

Happy Friday & Happy Weekend to you all!  Well as I'm writing this the snow is falling once again here in Northern VA and we're expected to get a few inches along with high winds and temps in the teens--blech!!  When is spring again?  LOL!  Today I have a project that involves chores and to-do list--we all have them and we all have ones that make us happy and ones that probably don't.  I don't mind cleaning--I really don't--I like my house to be neat, clean & orderly--I can't stand clutter/mess.  But laundry & ironing is a whole 'nother story for me, hee hee--I HATE THEM!  Now granted neither chore is hard to do, but I just strongly dislike them--I will wear every piece of clothing in my closet that doesn't need to be ironed before I iron something, LOL!  And laundry, I don't mind putting it in the washer/dryer but the folding, the putting it away and the fact that the chore seems never ending. Just when you get all of the laundry done, the dang hamper is filled to the brim again.  It doesn't help that hubby comes home, strips off his suit to put on jeans & sweatshirt for a bit then changes AGAIN into his jammies and throws everything into the hamper like the 5 MINUTES he had it on it got SOOO dirty---it irks me, seriously!  And don't get me started on the kids--there are so many discarded clothes in my daughter's room that I don't know what's clean or dirty so I have to wash it all and my son well, let's just say he can't ever keep his clothes clean, LOL!  And no I don't want them washing anything cuz' I don't trust any of them to do it right (yes, my control freakness setting in) but they are all required to put their clean laundry away (ha ha--yeah right, like that happens only 50% of the time)!

So I would put laundry at the top of my "HATE TO DO LIST", hee hee!  So what's your least favorite chore to do and why?  Funniest comment will win a NEW pad of Basic Grey's "Sugar Rush" and a $15 gift certificate to 7 Kid's College Fund just because I hope to get a good laugh to make me forgot about the laundry I have to do and the snow that is outside, 'kay!!?  Let me know by Sunday at midnite and then I'll pick a funny winner & share it with you all!  If I get enough comments, I'll pick a 2nd winner just because and they'll win a Gift Certificate as well!!

From My Heart

Isn't this the sweetest lil' Valentine Gal you evah' did see?  This is "Shy Nessa" from Mo's Digital Pencil--there are 4 of these cuties and you can see them all HERE but you can buy her separately HERE too!  I just adore her and I colored her with Copics and added diamond glaze to her shoes and heart!  I added stickles to the rim of the circle and on top of the diamond glazed heart (it's the only way to use stickles on digi images cuz they smear the ink for some odd reason--that irks me too, hee hee)!

The papers are from SU and the sentiment is from the PTI "Vintage Picnic Sentiments" set--I love that this card could be sent not only for Valentine's Day but just a Hello/Love You or Birthday card as well!  The swirls got some stickles and pearls to dress them up (find the scroll punch HERE).  And I had to add a cute metal charm--I added pink Smooch to the center to add some color (Smooch paints and Spritz can be added to any metal, plastic, wood or paper & even flower soft)!

**************************
The Laundry List!!

Well I figured since we all chores to do I might as well make them look pretty right? LOL!  I used this cute NEW "Laundry" stamp from Lockhart Stamp Co. to create a pretty clipboard that could be used to clip to-do lists, notes or even recipes or pictures to!  And I made a matching "To-Do" notepad that could be slipped in your tote or purse with all your to-do stuff inside!  All the papers are by Anna Griffin and cs from PTI!

I made a fun lil' clipboard (get mine at Michael's for $2 and they have a peg on the back so it can be stood up or hung on the wall if you like)--I just love dressing them up!  I always adhere the paper to the clipboard with Modge Podge--a nice even coat and then add another coat of it on top so the clip board holds up well to spills or smudges!  The top and edges got a coat of soft white acrylic paint and then I modge podged that too once it was dry.  I added a bow made with my Bow Easy and some pearls to finish it off.

The notepads I get from PTI HERE (they come in packs of 10 and in cream or white) and the sentiment on the front is from the PTI set "Take Note" and embossed in white (with Stewart EP my fave).  I created a lil' notepad cover and then a small pocket on the inside so you could slip appointment cards or recipts in.  PTI has a template HERE that you can download to print right onto your cs to make these covers if you like---I make my own, but the template is nice if you need help with it.

And here is this fabulous NEW Lockhart image "Laundry"--I colored it with my Copics, added some stickles and some Sparkle Fluff in white to the towels!  I used my Nestabilities Labels 4 to cut the image out, left it in the die and then sponged around the edges of the die to keep the frame nice & white (did that on the Valentine card above too)!

Both of these projects are for sale HERE in my Etsy store along with some other new stuff if you want to check them out!  Have a fab weekend & I'll see ya back here tomorrow!!

  2. I don't hate all laundry -- just folding the clothes and putting them away! I LOVE to wash because my drawers for once fit everything and I know everything's clean. I love to load the dishwasher but hate emptying it! I guess the last thing I dislike doing is gathering/putting out the recycling -- I'm forever gathering up cans/bottles that refuse to stay put! Maybe at the top of my TO DO list is to buy a bigger barrel so it isn't such an issue!Love the clipboard! Paper colors are lovely! TFS!

  3. Hi Suzanne - thanks for the chance to win. My worst chore is cleaning out the fridge. It's just gross!

  4. I love your clip board and list pads, just adorable. Least favorite is decluttering, I never know what to keep and what to toss, so don't LOL. Have a good, warm weekend. Hugs

  5. Hi Suzanne,
Your card and job list are great. The chore that i hate to do the most is dusting! I will let it go as long as I dare and I tell grand kids and hubby do not pick anything up and move! If things stay in place can't see the dust so much but boy when something gets moved not a good thing if you know what I mean! Then I have to get the dusting cloth.
    Hugs,
    Nancy

  6. Hi Suzanne! I hate dusting, because it's every part of the house so I never feel like it's done (and I don't live in a big house!). I do love laundry on the other hand, it's probably my favorite chore... I'll do your laundry if you do my dusting!

  7. I'm like you that I like a neat and clean house BUT I hate being the person to keep it that way! My least favorite chore is dusting. It is so monotonous and time consuming. I never manage to dust every little thing so I would never pass the white glove test, but I keep the topsoil off the furniture!

  8. I hate to dust!! When will someone come up with a furniture polish that eats dust the moment it settles? I'd pay big bucks for that one :-) Love your clipboard & notepad, no dust there!

  9. I Love all of your work. I don't mind cleaning, I as well like things neat and orderly, (Just don't look at my craft area) I HATE to do toilets. No matter how many times I tell my little guy to "aim that thing" he thinks it's funny to target shoot. Oh well. Thanks for all of your idea's.

  10. I hate cleaning out the refrigerator and loading the dish washer..... it all smells and to me is nasty... I love all your works of art and read your blog everyday and thank you so much for sharing with us.

  11. Adorable projects Suzanne. I love that image from Mo and I love the colors you used. The orange and pink are just perfect, so light and cheery :) I love the Lockhart project too, what a cute idea.

  12. Love your "Laundry List" clip board!! I will have to say that I don't mind putting the laundry in the washer or even in the dryer, it's the folding and putting away that I don't like. Whenever I am putting my youngest sons clothes in his dresser I feel like I am having a tug of war trying to open and close the drawers. It is an OLD dresser and the drawers are hard to open and close. Once I was trying to open one of the bottom drawers and I went flying backwards when it opened, landed on my butt,my son was laughing and I thought "well atleast I got the drawer open and won the tug of war". Then I looked at the drawer and it was only opened about an inch and I felt like the drawer was saying "haha you didn't win this time!" I looked at my son, put the clothes on the floor in front of the drawer and said "they look good there to me" and went and had a cup of coffee. One thing I really hate doing is cleaning the bathroom. I am the only girl in the house with 4 males....DH and 3 sons, ages 14,6 and 4 years old. The 2 youngests think it's fun to go together and see who can "make" the most bubbles!!LOL I like to say "let's see who can stay inside the toilet the most!" Sorry this is so long...but I do hope you got a laugh out of it!!! :-)

  13. I hate it all. I think all homes should come with a maid so the minute something gets mussed up or dirty it is cleaned again, and we could all be doing the things we all love to do. But you know I have to do it all, or who could stand to be my home, not me. The worst chore I think would be cleaning the bathroom, the minute it is done someone goes in to use it. Just loved all the cards and things everybody maded last night.

  14. I just adore my Grandchildren but they are at the stage where they are just learning how to use the bathroom themselves and constantly call Grandma can you come and wipe Hate it Hate it will exchange any ones chore for some one to come and teach my Grandchildren how to use the bathroom

  15. Hello there....I love the Shy Nessa Stamp.....she is simply too cute! I may have to get her simply because she shares my name! TFS her! My most dreaded chore is cleaning the bathrooms. The fumes of the cleaners, the destruction left behind by my two boys--- gosh! I am amazed I am able to keep the rest of the house clean and organized so well. Happy Friday and try to stay warm!

  16. Hiya!
Chores and me really really don't mix! house wife? i think not, dusting (dust mites attack me before i can get the hoover out!) washing up not a chance i seem to have this phobia of water! and bits of carrots lol.... drying up.... rather leave it to drain... ironing well last time i tried to iron i put a rather large whole through a very expensive shirt (no one told me i had to iron it inside out!). i will dable in painting tho i tend to have a habit of stepping in the paint pot! and not realising before i've gone into another room and walked paint through the house! shopping! well i was born to shop! even tho i find myself in a local store (is it me or am i the only one) who when you go food shopping every old lady is in the store walking along merrily then out of nowhere 'OOOOHHH HELLO DORIS' and they stop dead straight where they are (im the one normally standing behind trolley in hand half way up the poor ladys shoes!!! but i mean c'mon!! MOVEEEE!! lol :-)

I'm no domestic godess but i think i found my hubby2b more of a housewife2b than i am! xxx

  17. Hey Suzanne what a cute little set and your card with the little shy girl is so darn cute....I am like you can't stand a unkept home so I don't mind any of the chores that go with it....cleaning is a way to unwind for me....My least favorite thing to do is pick up after my 125 Rottie business in the yard, cause it never fails as I am she come out with me and adds to it ! I love her to death but I am telling you she is worse than a kid.

  19. You've all heard the phrase "I don't do windows". There's a reason this response is so popular. Believe me, I've tried most every window cleaner on the market, and even those that say they are "streak free" are just raising your hopes. I have never been able to get my windows "streak free". My three cats will sit on the table and I swear they are laughing at me as they watch while I try in vane to clean the sliding door. I've actually told our neighbors that we've had our windows specially treated to give them a distressed look - I have shabby chic windows - that's my new mantra.

  20. The chore I hate most right now is cleaning my 7 yr. old daughter's room!! She is sooo proud of how cute her room looks after I am done with it, but 2 days later it looks as if it has been hit by a hurricane. If it weren't for her and her room, the top chore I hate would have been cleaning the bathrooms!! Thanks for this chance to win Suzanne!!

  21. Hi Suzanne~ Beautiful creations hun! I am in awe over all of the beauty! I'm so with you on HATING the laundry! To start with there is only hubby and I but I swear our clothes multiply by themselves in our laundry basket...I mean do we really wear that many items! 2nd I do let the laundry pile up seeing how hubby and I don't have our own washer and dryer in our apartment so I have to go to the in-laws house to do laundry! I swear my neighbors must think I am insane....while I am trying to load 2 huge laundry baskets into my tinker toy size car and dropping articles of clothing along the way! My favorite was the day I came home from doing laundry and found a pile of socks along our walk way...like they fell out of the basket to leave me a trail home! (Thank God it wasn't my undies!!!) I was laughing the rest of the after! Then once I get to the in-law....it's only 2 miles away...I have to fight once again...almost wrestling with the laundry baskets to get them out of the car...into the house...and down the basement steps...while trying not to break my neck on the steps...the one day my wonderful feet decided to gain up against me...one shoe got hooked on my pants leg and I went tumbling down the last 5 steps...LAUNDRY was ALL over ME and all over the floor! Then I am usually trapped at the in-laws house for hours while I do that laundry...it doesn't pay to leave because I would just have to turn around and go back to change loads! Ahhh....I look forward to the day we have our house built and I can do laundry at home! I hope I made you giggle for a little bit! Happy Laundry to us!
    Hugs~ Kim

  22. Love the little list ideas! I have to say I do not mind the laundry. I have the kids do their own! I do mine and my husbands. Yep, your is just like mine, like how dirty does that stuff get? The other thing is a towel...how dirty is that towell if it was used to dry off your clean body. Hang it up to dry and use it again! Nope no way with my husband. I try with my towel but if he sees it hanging he will yank it down and toss it on the bathroom floor. I like to run the vac around the house. We have dark blue carpet so cleaning that makes the entire room look clean-I just put that little brushie thing on the end of the hose and vac the things that need dusting. Once in a while I will pick things up and really dust use the pledge mits. Now for the hated thing.....cleaning the bathroom is not bad but cleaning the toilet! How can one man make such a mess??? EEXCUSE ME but if you make that puddle on the floor like clean it up! I hate when I go into the bathroom and sit on the toilet pull my shorts up and ewe they are wet! Now I did not wet my pants, I know I did not go wee wee on the floor why do I now have it all over my behind??!! I also know I did not leave that smudge on the back of the toilet seat! Is it imperative that be left for me to clean up. I have to admit it has gotten better on the smudge since I put a container of Clean up wipes on the back of the toilet. Better aim! Reward with M & M's for great aim? Should I try the Cheerios trick with my husband like they do while potty training boys?

    Wet cheeks!

  23. Cooking! I'd rather clean the bathroom while listening to elevator music than cook!

Several years ago, I made a stir-fry and it turned Robin's Egg Blue! (That's B02 for you Copic lovers.)

Good thing my husband likes to cook. He keeps us well fed and safe from blue food.

  25. Hi Suzanne. Awesome projects. My most hated chore is cutting my 18 month son's toenails. I have come to the conclusion that his life force is located in his toenails because he screams like I am killing him when I am cutting them. It ends up being a 2 to 3 day venture. I would gladly trade you your laundry for my clipping any day. Have a good one.

  26. I have always lived in a house full of males, so you can guess that my least favorite thing to "try" and keep clean are the outside of the toilet bowl and the floor, and of course, no one wants to take credit for the discoloration. I know you all know what I mean. I guess my teaching the guys when little did not take. LOL Oh well so goes the life of a wife and mother. Now on to your clipboard/notepad, they are absolutely the cutest things I have seen. Your coloring of the basket struck me first. Great job! Take a coffee break!!

  29. Love the clipboard and stamp! My least favorite chore is filing! Can you believe it? But I love to spend hours organizing my beautiful craft/scrapbook papers and related items. I think they really need to print tax forms, receipts, and the like on designer paper. I would be much more efficient and organized :).

  30. Top of my "hate to do" list would be cleaning the bathrooms. One of them I do not even use! That would be Bill's. What is it with men and not hitting "inside" the toilet? Ask him why and he says he has a good aim and what am I talking about?? I get easy tools like that scrubbing bubbles pad holder so you don't get cleaner all over your hands. He says... what am I supposed to do with this?? (with a sly smile!) So instead of going round and round with him I just take control and clean both bathrooms!!
Love your sweet Nessa card (that is my daughters name!) She is beautifully done!

  31. Your laundry list is adorable!!!!

My least favorite chore - grocery shopping!! You not only have to go through the chore of making the list at home and finding the best deals, but also going to store, taking it off the shelves into the cart, out of the cart on to the checkout stand, back into your cart, out of the cart into the car, out of the car into the house, out of the bags into the cupboards, and the real rub of all this work.......YOU HAD TO PAY TO DO ALL OF THIS...IT COST YOU MONEY!!!!!!!! We won't even get into the cooking part....... Can you tell I'm an eat to live person not a lives to eat!!!! UGH!!!!! Hate grocery shopping.....

  32. I share my home with my husband and 3 very narcissistic felines. They continuously groom as if expecting the paparazzi to burst through the front door at any moment to snap their pictures. Their constant attempt to achieve perfectly coiffed fur inevitably leads to lots of little "hairball" sculptures strategically placed around my house like miniature art exhibits. This actually led me to hunt down "hairball" colored carpet a few years ago when it was time for a carpet transplant. If you haven't guessed, Hairball Duty is the bane of my existence!

  33. I hate to prep for cooking. DH hates it when I prep for cooking.
I have been grounded from prepping.
This is a good thing as the last time I got hold of a knife, I sliced off the tip of my finger. I still have no feeling there! And I have no fingerprint in that section. I'd much rather do laundry. It doesn't require a sharp implement!

  34. Great projects! Everything you do is always so nice!
I HATE cleaning the toilet. It freaks me out every time since a few years ago we had a squirrel in the toilet stack! I had just flushed it and all the water started coming out the bottom where the wax seal was. I quickly grabbed every towel we had to try & sop it up since the bathroom is upstairs and I had just had the downstairs ceilings painted. Well, while I was wiping up the water, scratching noises were coming from inside the base of the toilet.Long story short...we took the toilet off the floor and discovered Mr. squirrel was in there. All we could see was his tail. My husband tried to lasso it with a rope. He pulled but all he got was part of his tail. EWWW!!!! Needless to say the sguirrel somehow escaped down the pipe and ended up in our wall. We finally got him out several days later. I see him outside all the time. I can tell who he is because of his damaged tail. So, everytime I have to clean the toilet it reminds me of that darn squirrel. It's a BAD joke around here as he has gotten himself inside several other times via the chimney or the hot water tank. Don't know what I have in the house that he wants so badly! But I could write a book about my adventures with this squirrel! I am an animal lover so that's why we let him go every time we catch him. But enough is enough already!!! LOL!!

  35. My all-time least favorite household chore is ironing because I detest standing still for that long! So, I don't iron, ever. In fact, I finally donated the pile of ironing that was stacked in my closet because by that point it was all out-dated or out-grown anyway!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I hate cleaning up after my cat, and no, I don't mean THAT kind of cleaning up...kitty waits, she creeps, she stalks...she prevails! And whatever she catches is her prize and my gift - but no, these are not my kind of gifts! Birds, bunnies, lizards...a veritable dead zoo, boo-hoo!

  37. Hi Suzanne,

My least fav chore would deff be cleaning the toilets.. Yuk! I usually work a deal with DH and the kids if they do the bathrooms, I'll cook and clean the kitchen. It's not like I can get away with not cooking, so it's a win-win for me! lol

Good luck with your laundry, it brings back childhood memories I'd always volunteer to fold the laundry, then i'd fall asleep while folding the warm clothes. that just came out of the dryer.

Oh and I did have to wash the ironing board cover too (lol).

My least favorite job is cleaning the shower. One time I was in there scrubbing away and a nasty old bug dropped down into the back of my shirt collar- you could have heard my screams from 3 blocks away. needless to say , I refused to take a shower for a few days.

  42. Love your card and notepad!!! I have to say I am one lucky wife...my husband does the house cleaning, including the bathrooms...says he does not want me to hurt my back! The only thing I do is make the bed each morning, the dusting, and the laundry. I'VE GOT IT MADE!!! Believe it or not, I still have "a least favorite thing to do"...trying to decide what to have for dinner. Love to do the food shopping - actually, any kind of shopping! However, I seem at a loss when I have to decide what to have for dinner. Asking my husband what he would like is a waste of time....his reply is always "whatever is on the menu"...now I ask you, how's that for an enlightening answer??? WHATEVER!

  45. Hi Suzanne,
Your card with Shy Nessa is delightful. I just love it. Your colouring is out of this world.
LOVE the lists!! I can think of lots of family members who could use these for one thing or another!! Do you glue the note pads to the lovely pockets you make, or are they in there so you can replace the note pad and keep the nice pockets?
I don't know if you really want to hear my least like thing to do? Did you say it had to be IN the house? Cause mine is outside and needs to be done daily. I am sure you will understand since you have pets. What about picking up the doggy dodo. Have you tried to get it out of frozen snow or find it under wet soggie leaves that are EXACTLY the same colour? How many times have you stepped in it picking up one you finally found; but didn't see the one behind you? Do you know they melt into the snow and by the time you try to get them out you have to use a chisel to get them??? I have spent an hour out there and still miss the one my grandchildren step in while they are playing......Oh My!!

  48. I find it a chore to answer my DH when he asks a question for I have no clue why he asks in the first place. Fine example; tonight on the way home from an area we aren't familiar with he asks me which way to go. Mind you....we have two GPS's in the car. Garman and my cell phone...they both said to go straight. He says "I can't see the name of the road" My cell phone just told him the name but being a man he has to check it out himself and why does it matter for he doesn't know where it leads to anyway and to make it more irritating he did it three different times and if I heard "recalculating" or "the next legal U-turn" x's two... he's lucky he and the GPS's didn't end up on a curb somewhere!! LOL dang I was irritated!! Question??? why oh why...would a husband buy his wife a GPS and then refuse to use it himself for directions???

  49. My least favorite thing to do is wash the silverware. No dishwasher :(, and only one large sink(early 1930's ) but for some reason I will wash all of the dishes , get down to the silverware until the drawer is down to nothing so have no choice but wash(the job is a lot of work at once by then). It is just hubby & me, & so he doesn't see how much silverware is actually dirty I keep adding soap & water for bubbles-AS IF HE CAN"T SEE IN THE DRAWER, lol. My grand-daughters just think this is so funny.

    Great work,
    Hugs,
    Julia B.

  51. Guess my worst thing to do is mopping. Not that it's hard or that I really don't like doing it, but that you have to move everything to do it! I don't like doing the bathroom or dusting because usually in a short time (30 minutes) it needs it again. I mean, why put forth all that effort to do it again so soon??

My hubby is a great "mate" and helps me do everything. Couldn't make it without him. Yay, honey!!

  53. Hi Suzanne - I will trade your laundry and ironning if you take getting groceries for me. I HATE the grocery detail. My biggest pet peave is getting home and finding the juice container or the bag of fruit on top of my bread - squished beyond belief or the tortilla chips all broken after I spent 5 minutes picking out the best bag. :) I guess I'm kind of anal about how my paper or pastic bags are filled - lol. Anyway, hope you are having a great weekend. It is sunny but very cold here in Michigan. Love your blog - read it daily!!

I love your projects. There very cute and great ideas. Thank you for a chance to win a prize.

  55. Hi Suzanne

Love your website and your tutorials.

The number one thing on my laundry list is grocery shopping. Never fails I will ask for ideas and hubby has none so I go wander around the grocery store come home with ideas I feel good about.

Will make dinner hubby comes home from work and we sit down to dinner and if I made chicken he will say guess what I had for lunch? And I will say I don't know he says a chicken sandwich... Ugh... All that work and he had the same main ingredient for lunch...

Have a great weekend. Cold in Wisconsin also.

  56. My least favorite chore is dusting. Those little bunnies are usually hopping by the time it bothers me enough to do something about it! Lana Cisinski

  57. Well, I'm not thrilled to clean house anymore, but my least favorite chore would be cleaning the bathroom ... very necessary, but not fun! Think if my bathroom were redone, it would be more pleasurable. I had a total kitchen remodel last year and now it is a pleasure to keep it clean.

  58. Isn't least favorite an oxymoron?? LOL I dread cooking supper. It just seems like a waste of time that I could be stamping! Ya gotta plan it, hope you have all the ingredients, cook it, hope your dh didn't have it for lunch, empty that always full dishwasher, load it back up and convince the dogs there are no more leftovers! It's just one of those never-ending chores. blah, blah, blah...

  59. My least favorite job funny or gross is cleaning the cat box, because every time it is clean she thinks she has to use it, right after. So you can imagine when there is a nice clean box its only seconds away from letting everyone know there is a cat in the house, lol. Its kinda funny but the bathroom works the same way right after I clean it.

  60. Here' my complaint. I will walk out of the kitchen with it looking all sparkly like in one of those Mr. Clean commercials. When I return a few minutes later there will be a spoon, bowl, cup, whatever sitting on the sink. I will clean it up or put it in the dishwasher and then leave the kitchen again. When I come back a little while later there will be another spoon, bowl, cup, whatever sitting on the sink again. I mean seriously, am I the only one who can find the dishwasher?

  61. I have 2 Great Pyrenees and if you think chasing a dust bunny is hard, try chasing a hair ball the size of a jack rabbit. They just walk through the house, shake and the chase is on.

  62. I think vacuuming is my most hated chore. The machine is too noisy and always gives me a headache.

  63. I absolutely love the laundry list, as usual your work is amazing, now my complaint, and thing I hate the most, is washing my husbands hankies, I have told him over and over again we are in the 20th century and there is this really neat invention called the Kleenex. Does he think I enjoy picking up that "Thing" and putting it into the washing machine, no, it doesn't get there by itself. I really shouldn't complain, but I am, because he is such a big help to me but I still hate washing his hankies, yuk!!

  64. Well I don't do the laundry, my husband does it all, including the ironing, so I can't complain about that. Well I do now & then- my husband is a big believer in bleach. I think it comes from his military days. Do you know what bleach does to spandex! I put a fairly new, expensive bra on one day and it was like I was wearing nothing- & I'm not talking seamless more like lifeless. It practically desinigrated in my hands! The chore that belongs to me alone is the bathrooms & yes I hate it..just gross. I hate hair anywhere! We won't even talk about what a 6 yr boys aim is like!

  65. I don't mind doing laundry but doing dishes is my most least favourite of all the chores to do. At times, I have contemplated having disposable dishes but then my environmental brain kicks in and I quickly dismiss that thought. But it would be nice...
Thanks for the chance to win.

  68. Spot treating my kids laundry (ages 6,4 and2) . What the heck do they get into? It takes me 15 minutes to treat a load. And I am here to tell you, we are either the dirtiest or cleanest people ever with the amount of trash and recycle we have.

  69. Very creative and adorable projects Suzanne! My least favorite chore? That would have to be wiping my dogs back end after she does her business outside. I have a corgi and she's full of hair back there. I'd shave the hair but then I'd have to look at the bare back end! You see, Corgi's don't have tails to provide camouflage. The real trick? Leaving on vacation and asking someone else to do it while I'm gone.

  70. Well my least favorite chore is "matching" the socks! I hate to pair them up after doing the laundry so I throw them all in a basket! My family hates it they are always asking for socks so I tell them to pair the basket. One time I was on "strike" I went out and bought everyone new socks and threw the basket away!!! LOL

Thanks for the sharing of your wonderful talent!

  71. Hi Suzanne. Love your projects. They are as always just beautiful.. Your story made me lmbo...I would have to say that laundry and washing the dishes run a close 1st place for me. However the dishes are the worst! We don't have a dish washer in our house. I don't really mind that because there is always the argument of who unloads it. What I have the most is that much like laudry you get all done and turn around and the counter is full again. My kids & husband all seem to think that they need to pile it all in the sink, but they don't seem to know how to soak a bowl or dish or even an empty milk glass. My kids do not think that it is possible to re-use a glass that you just used 5 minutes ago to refill with the exact same thing. That would just kill them. And don't even think that the plate you used to have a piece of toast at 9 would be usable for that snack that you have to have at 9:30. Especially when you still have not put it up and it has been sitting right next to you while you are reading or whatever..It is just non ending and the kitchen only seems to be perfect in my mind for about 15 seconds at a time...Have a great weekend, Lisa G

  72. Wow! There sure are alot of people who like to talk about what they don't like to do - hee hee! Guess I'll put my two cents in...

My least favorite chore is cleaning the bathrooms. Ewwww! I have three adult males in my house and you would think that by now they could aim right. Maybe I need to get those "targets" to put in the toilet! And then there is those little nubby hairs left over from shaving - ugh! Maybe I need to start saving them so I could donate them back when their hair begins to recede... Everybody's talking about being "green" these days ya know :D

Lots of love, laughter and blessings to you and your family, Suzanne ~ Lori

  73. Honestly...I hate picking up my husband's underwear that he leaves on the floor! Can you believe it? I usually use his socks to pick up the underwear... of course, the socks are usually on the floor right beside the underwear! I sleep with the man every night but there is something about "used" underwear that really grosses me out!

  74. My downfall is laundry as well. My husband can tell the story best, however 15 plus years ago(we have only dated and been married five years!!!) we had our 1st date. We came back to my house after dinner and he tells the story of how how felt like my laundry was going to come out of the laundry room and swallow him whole. We laugh about it ow and guess who does the laundry around here...not me, but by DH!!!!

  75. Suzanne,
I think we should switch because I love doing laundry...I'm very anal about it and hang up everyone's clothes except for undies, towels and socks. (even some pj's I hang up to dry!) It makes them look better & last so much longer. However, I despise mopping floors and cleaning tubs!
Thanks for all your great & inspiring tutorials. My fave tutorial is the lavendar ballerina...probably because my daughter is a dancer too!
