Got Monsters & Goth Fun!!
SCACD Release
Today SCACD releases fun and fresh stamps from the Susana Loves Stamps Collections!!! We start off with the Oddly Sweet Curiosities Set which harbors the cutest little Curiosities with matching sentiments. These are Fab and definitely year around fun!!! The second Set are four wonderful little ladies that make up The Little Sassy Crew. Check 'em out- they are the gals that have a sweetness and attitude factor that are off the charts!!! We are also introducing a fun little set of Mixed Media houses called M’s Place that makes them a must have for those that love cute in their Mixed Media. Hope you HOP ALONG with us all today!
So today is the NEWEST SCACD RELEASE…some awesomely, fun-tastic and cute stamps coming out today. I’ve used two today on this card…the monster stamps (and sentiments) are called the Oddly Sweet Curiosities Sets #1 & #2 and this one is called “Monster Chill” (from set #1). I love these cute lil’ monsters…great for all ages and boys and girls. I had to go with some fun, bright colors….this image/sentiment will surely bring a smile to the recipient. In the background I also used some fun houses from the NEW set from Susana Loves Stamps “M’s Place”..cute & whimsical houses and landscapes that can be used for multiple occasion/projects.
Our International friends can get these at Quixotic Paperie!!
I'm entering this into the following challenges:

I used some scrap papers from an older Basic Grey paper pad (love me that zebra print) and I embossed the green paper with a fun print. That lil monster got colored with Copics (YG25,YG67,YG20,YG03 / RV10,RV14,RV17) and I feathered the colors together and also dotted it on to give some fun texture to the skin. Then I added a very thick coat of Diamond Glaze for shine. The sentiment comes with the stamp & then I added some fun button accents to finish it off.
For the next project I used the new collection called “Little Sassy Crew” and this cutie is “Little Stargazer”. I had to give her some fun hot-pink hair…she’s sassy yes? Instead of a card I made a fun lil’ note pad that could be given as a gift to someone special & sassy! Again I used scrap papers and kept the colors bright and fun. The notepads I buy from PTI and then just create simple cardstock covers that I then decorate.

She got colored with Copics (same as above with the additions of B18,B21/E11,E00) and then I added Diamond Glaze to her boots and eyes…stickles to some accents for fun sparkle. The sentiment is from PTI too and then I matted my image with SBs shapes. I love this fun color combo!
I’m the last person on this hop today…thanks for stopping by and if you need to start the blog hop from the beginning go to the STORE BLOG HERE or hop backwards by going to Jenny Rohr’s Blog Here!

ReplyDeleteSorry about your AC Suzanne but your images look great! Love the green and pink combo, one of my favs.
ReplyDeleteOky girl these two cards really ROCKED!!!! FABULOUSO!!! the first made me smile
ReplyDeleteHave you tried changing the filter for your system? I had that same problem earlier this year and paid $98 to learn that I needed to change the filter! Once I did that, it worked like a charm.
ReplyDeleteLove your work, Suzanne. Thanks for the inspiration......and the chuckles along the way,
Beautiful creations. Love the happy fun colors and all the layers!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous as always, Suzanne! Love your coloring, the colors, papers and designs! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove both of your projects! They are just darling! Congrats on being the featured artist! And good luck with the A/C. Here in AZ we have people that will come out on dire emergencies--but they charge a lot more, too!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Penny
Oh, man. My AC went out about two weeks ago, during that 100 degree spurt of heat we had before we got some blessed coolness for a few days. I feel your pain! Congrats on getting featured; you deserve it for sure. And I was just giving this particular little monster the "you want to come home with me" eye. He's my fave of the new releases, and you used my two fave colors, too. Love it!
ReplyDeleteToo stinkin cute they are! I love the bright colors and that Sassy Crew chick is too much fun! It was good to chat with you a couple of weeks ago and it feels great to be back stamping. I don't ever want to leave again!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Susan

ReplyDeleteGreat cards! I love the papers/colors!
ReplyDeleteI always find it so funny when people complain about the cold and talk about how much they love warm weather can't stand it when they don't have A/C. I thought you loved the heat Suzanne!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being featured! Can't wait to head on over to see your work.. it is always a treat. I learn so much from you. As for the heat, hang in there... I AM menopausal and have the AC going all the time, plus FANS in every room - even one attached to my craft table (LOL) for when the flash hits!!! Too funny... xxx Ann Marie
