Cuz at the end of summer someone will win a HUGE $150 craft prize from me if you can keep track of all the places he has been 'kay? So keep your eyes peeled, LOL! Why Waldo? Cinder-Relly!!
This project was soooooooooo much FUN for me and YES I did have that Cinderella song “Cinder-relly” running thru my head. You know where the birds & mice sing and create Cinderella’s new dress for her (see video below if you have NO idea what crazy nonsense I’m talking about now, hee hee). But this beautiful image is by Carmen Medlin for SCACD called “Naturally Styled” from the Natural Beauty Collection and I just love it---so many ways to color and use this image!
My papers are older Cosmo Cricket and I love the color combo of dk. red and aquas. I used the Spellbinder die “Lacey Squares” and turned it to mimic the diamond pattern on the paper. The leaves are from the newer Spellbinders die that I love called “Foliage”. I inked all the edges with aqua ink and then gave the leaves some bling with stickles. I used my Nellie Snellen flower punch to create the aqua flowers and then added red Primas (some are 25% off now—yay) and some rosebuds.
Isn’t this image lovely? I colored it with Copics R29,R24,R22,R20 / BG72,BG11,BG10 / E25,E31,E50 /YG67,G20. I added Viva Décor Pearl Pen to create some small pearls to the dress’ bodice and then to the corners of the image. Stickles on the bottom of the dress and its lace trim, and roses.
Cinder-relly Song :)
Have a great Sunday---enjoy!
