Happy Tuesday to you all! They are calling for more snow here in VA this week, I cannot even believe it--SHOOT ME NOW PLEASE! LOL! When spring arrives and trees and grass turn green I will singing from the rooftops (albeit sniffingly due to my allergies, hee hee). My pal Marti is headed over here today for some "Jammie Stampin" time, lol. She misses me sooooo much she couldn't wait to come over to see me bwahahaha! Then I'm finishing up shooting some videos that I hope to have edited and ready to go by this weekend---they are LONG overdue I know!
Enough about me today..........today is about a wonderful lady named GINA K that you may know!! The Gina K DT is holding a VIRTUAL Birthday Party for her today with a fun Blog Hop that you will NOT want to miss!
So I was in Target this weekend and I seem to have a green fetish going on--LOL! I bought a green shirt, green bracelet and this fabulous green gift bag. I think I'm wanting green (SPRING) so much in my life that I now have to purchase it, LMBO! Anywho this wonderful green gift bag inspired everything I made for Gina K's birthday--I loved the bright white against this terrific green. And I KNEW the Gina K stamp set "Botanicals" would match up perfectly and it did!
I stamped the matching floral branch from the "Botanicals" set with Versamark and then sprinkled on White Embossing Powder & heated it to a nice shine. After it cooled I put some Stickles on the flowers for sparkle. A pretty paper border (MS border punch) and bow trim out the bottom and I paper pierced around the sentiment and added a few oyster pearls to round it off!
your card is adorable Suzanne!!
ReplyDeleteit does really match witht the gift bag!!
I'm hopping to Tina's blog now!!
