My Prince Frog!
Today I have a fun Magnolia card for you! I used a sketch that was created by Chris Sather who is a mod for the Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group. The Group is celebrating it's 2 year birthday with 8 weeks of fabulous challenges that you can see on a special Birthday Bash Blog HERE! I loved this sketch--really fun to use and I used a fabulous Fairytale stamp from Magnolia-licious!
This gorgeous Magnolia stamp is called "Fairytale Tilda" and I just love her and her lil' frog friend (errrr...prince?)! I married my Prince Charming so I'm a lucky gal indeed--no frogs for me!! I used some royal colors and papers from the new pack of Kaisercraft paper called "Gypsy Sisters"--I love this paper pack, beeee-u-tiful! That fabby ribbon is from the Outlet and I got 65 yards for $5, hee hee--the bow was made with the fab Bow Easy! I attached a ribbon charm with Scrappers Floss and then painted it with teal Smooch paint (great for metal)! The background behind her was embossed with a CB Folder and the swirls are from a Spellbinders die embellied with pearls!
Isn't she just precious--love her!! I colored her on my fave cardstock at the moment (Crygoen White Irridescent that you can buy HERE)--it blends well and has a subtle sparkle in it which I like! She's colored with Copics of course (BG49,BG15,BG11,BG10/R35,R32,RV10, E25,E31,YR20) and then I used Smooch Illuminate on her dress for pretty sparkles. The froggie got a coat of diamond glaze, while it was still tacky I poked it with the end of a paintbrush so it's kinda bumpy IRL! Her wings and lace trim got stardust Stickles on them for more BLING!! Do you see the small sparklies in the rest of the image from the paper--love it!
Make sure and stop by the Magnolia-licious Birthday Bash Blog here and join in the festivities each Saturday!
