Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's and grandma's out there! Hope you are enjoying the day with family and being spoiled. I always get my fave breakfast in bed, wait for it................2 Dunkin Donuts Boston Creme donuts and a glass of chocolate milk, lol! (but I like Eggs Benedict too, hee hee but hubby wouldn't have a clue how to fix that). I will ALWAYS love donuts--it's my favorite treat, can't help myself! So far I'm having a great Mom's Day--my fridge's icemaker got fixed, my flower bed is almost done and I got a new 19" flat screen tv for the wall in my craft room---so I'm pretty happy today! Now to get hubby to hang the tv up--that could be a few more weeks on his schedule, LOL! I'm still waiting for my ceiling fan/light to be hung up in there--and it's been a year! We'll all have dinner together tonight but I actually have to spend the day working--gotta catch up a bit cuz' there is lots to get done. I just wish the weather was a bit warmer today and not so windy!
NewsBitz:

Day Dreamin'
I used this past week's Friday Sketcher's sketch for my layout, wrapped it with cream ribbon and topped it with a bow made with my Bow Easy. You can find these beautiful pearls here (in bliss) and those roses are Prima Cameo Roses--aren't they gorgeous tinged with color. I used my favorite scroll punch here to accent the flowers and a MS leaf punch for the leaves.
She's colored with Copics (duh right) and then I added flower soft to the window box (I used baby blue and the sweet pea mix together). I scored the shutters and folded them up so they were more 3-D. The window panes have diamond glaze on them and while it was still wet I spritzed the center of the stamp (I folded the shutters back because I wanted them to be solid, not sparkly) with Vanilla Smooch Spritz. The curtains got a coating of Shimmerz Buttercream paint after they were colored with Copics. In my Class 4 at the Color Me Creative Classroom I have a video that shows multiple ways to color "sheer items" like these curtains.
Hope you like this lil' beauty (hope mom does too)! Have a great Sunday!

I'm glad to hear that there is someone else in this world that loves donuts as much as I do, they are my all-time favorite breakfast and I usually have one from Dunkin' Donuts (double chocolate) every Sunday. Nothing gets me out of bed quicker than know that there are donuts for breakfast! Glad to hear that you had a great Mother's Day and your ice maker got fixed and you got a nice flat screen tv for your craftroom. I'm waiting for my husband to have some free time so that he can hook up my little 13" downstairs in my craft area.
