Enjoy Your Life!!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Did ya like my ghostie story yesterday, hee hee?  My ghost must have been hovering around me again yesterday because a jar of buttons on the shelf behind my worktable launched themselves down--wonder what the ghostie wants--maybe a custom card, LOL!

Anywho, I've got a couple of questions for ya and I'd love some feedback if you have time (email me at sjdean@smartneighborhood.net)--
**Would you be interested in a glossy paper publication every other month (like a magazine) mailed to you, that featured all papercrafts (cards AND anything made with paper, gifts, altered items, etc.)?  NOT JUST CARDS but projects too :o)
**Would include tutorials, pictures, techniques, new products, product review, great copic info/tips/tutorials, tool info, cricut info, etc.?
**As a subscriber you would get the benefit of an exclusive website with projects, templates, subscriber gallery and news, print abilities, pdf files and more---
**Reader submissions featured; sketches; coupons; contests?
**A special 7th publication featuring only Winter Holidays?
**Would you be interested in subscribing for a yearly fee with an introductory rate?
IF you answer these questions and give me your opinion, I will enter you to win a NEW Zutter Distrezz-it-All Machine (see here)!  I appreciate it!!  And yes I'm probably cooking up something BIG, so I appreciate all the answers I can get!!

Enjoy Life

Today's card features a fabulous Greeting Farm stamp called "Twinkle Tots Izzy"--and 7 Kids College Fund now has all the great Greeting Farm stamps in stock HERE (twinkle tots will be re-stocked soon)!  I think she's just a little beauty!  I used some fabulous K&Co. papers (thanx S) called Floral Dreams--such pretty patterns and colors!  I used my Tonic Distress Tool to rough up the edges and put some of my fave Stardust Stickles (my go-to fave now) on her jacket and hat.  I layered some more Primas and Prima Roses together and the green swirlies are from a fab Cuttlebug Die set HERE.

The sentiment is from a PTI set and is called "Handwritten Notes" and the ribbon is also from PTI, it's cut out with the Nestabilities Labels 4.  The bow tied with my Bow Easy and topped off with some flowers.  The border was punched with a MS border punch--it has a matching corner punch as well (I luv it)!

I colored her with Copics of course---I used V99,V95,V91,V000/B02,B01,B00,B000/E13,E11,E00/E35,YR21,YR20.  You can find a great selection of Copics HERE.  Hope you like this cutie as much as I do!!

See ya back here tomorrow with some fab Pink Cat Studio Digi Releases!

  5. I answer YES to all your questions about the publication! I love having a magazine to hold in my hands and refer back to often. Online is good but amongst all the electronic storage, my ezines get losta and forgotten!

  8. i would love a magazine like that, most of the ones I have seen although they have card making and projects in them don't really feature anything on copics, or tools, or stamping which are the main things I am in to. I would love this idea will it ship to the UK :)

Also your card is STUNNING i love the papers and that image is so cute. I really like that you write the copic numbers you have used too as it makes it easier when I am buying them to see what works well together.

  10. Super YES! I love your copic tutorials and they have helped me so much. I would definitely pay a subscription fee. It's nice to receive a newsletter with layouts and hints/tricks at your finger tips. Oh, by the way...I would love to get my hands on the new Distrezz-it-All machine. Just another machine I HAVE TO HAVE. LOL

  17. Yes, to all the questions !!!! What about a DVD as part of the subscription? As you know, a video is often more helpful than the printed version of a tutorial. I have looked at a printed version again and again and "didn't get it", until I saw the video. I too have so many folders on my computer with pictures of cards and zillions of tutorials.

    Great idea.....oh and a lovely card...hehehe.

  19. Yes, absolutely love the idea of a magazine. Card ideas, tutorials & craft projects sound great. There are so many great products out there but living in South Africa it is not easy to get info on how to use them. I search the net looking for videos (like your wonderful Copic tutorials) and then it all makes sense. Thanks for a wonderful blog. rgds, Diane, Cape Town.

  26. Unfortunately I have let all my subscriptions lapse, just not enough time in the day. That said, if the publication had more than just pics, the tutorials etc you mentioned, then I would love to read something like that would actually help me improve my skills!

  27. Since I love using copics, and I love your tutorials, what better than to put the two together!!! I think it's a terrific idea!! You're a genius.... It's your blog in a magazine for us to keep at our fingertips to keep looking at without getting on the computer and print stuff off! The DVD isn't a bad idea either, although can't tell you how often I've gone back and watched a youtube tutorial you've done on hair coloring or whatever. But, the magazine....great idea, Suzanne, I'd subscribe, with your artwork inside??? in a heartbeat!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. How awesome would that be....I would love to have your tutorial on hand....and in hand....I would pay to have it.....thank you for asking.....

  29. The answer to all the questions would be "yes." I'd love to have all that information at my finger tips. I do tend to be more of an Internet girl than a print girl when it comes to paper crafts though. There is just so much stuff on the net. It's hard to run out of things to do.
When I was a kid growing up in my family home we used to think there was a ghost living with us. It would slam doors and move things around. As long as they don;t do anything truly scary I don't mind them hanging around.

  33. Hi Suzanne,
I would like to say YES to all of your questions regarding a publication. ( depends on the price, of course ) Sounds out of this world!
Another beautiful card today - love the colours you have chosen.

  34. Suzanne, I probably would not be interested. I find I have learned far more from blogs than all the subscriptions I have had. I used to receive six card and scrapping magazines a month and I have dropped everything but Scrapbooks Etc. By the way, I have a couple of ghost stories for you as well.

  43. YES, YES, YES - anything you work on I would be interested in. I am finding that more of the things I want to see in the Card or Scrapbook magazines are not what I treasure and save. I love all the personal blogs - they inspire with their personal story telling, creativity & knowledge. And your blog is awesome so I'm sure whatever you provide will be as well!

  51. Hi Suzanne. I am finally getting 5 minutes to read your blog and my answer is a big fat YES....sign me up. I would so love to have a publication about Copics, and projects and all. What a wonderful idea. I have been scanning the local book store and our Walmart, and I have to say that as far as card mags go there really isn't much. I am so excited, I can not wait. Your card by the way is just wonderful. I just love the way you design and color. Hugs, Lisa G
