Mo's Digital Pencil "Project of the Month" Blog Hop
and
Copic Creations Challenge Blog
Mo's Digital Pencil "Project of the Month" Blog Hop
and
Copic Creations Challenge Blog
So this card was made for 2 challenges today--love to combine challenges when I can, LOL! First up is the very FIRST BLOG HOP for Mo's Digital Pencil's "Dream Team--Project of the Month"! On the third Thursday of every month the "Dream Team" will have a fun themed project Blog Hop for you--each DT member gets to create a challenge, and there are lots of fun ones comin' at ya!
This month was DT member Lori Boyd's turn and she asked that we use "Our Favorite Mo's Digi Stamp along w/ Our Favorite Color Combo"! Well, ever since this "Christmas Fairy" image came out, I've been waiting for the right dp to come to my craft room, hee hee--and this new Christmas dp by DCWV fit the bill (so far I've only found this dp HERE overseas). I adore, adore black & hot pink together and how fun to use them for Christmas!
She was colored with Copics which fits into the Copic Creations Challenge which was to use blacks (I used C9,C7,C5,C3,C1) and then I added some stardust stickles to her lace trim and wings! The flowers are Primas (all different ones) that I layered along w/ a black snowflake punch-out and a hot pink roses--so pretty. I distressed the edges of my PTI cs with my Inkssentials Distress Tool--boy I love that lil' thing, hee hee! I made 2 hatpins using some beads I had on hand and pushed them thru my big satin bow (Offray ribbon)!
The snowglobe she's holding got a nice bubble of diamond glaze to create a 3-D effect--love it! Now if you started here with me on this Mo's Project of the Month Blog Hop, you need to start at the beginning at Lori's blog HERE. If you're continuing along on the hop your next stop is Mina's blog HERE! There are sure to be some fabulous creations for you to be inspired by!! And don't forget to stop by Mo's Store HERE to see all her fabulous digi images--knock your socks off cute!! This lil' beauty is entered in the PaperPlay Challenges as well, which was to use your fave embelly (well that would be stickles, diamond glaze & flowers & ribbon, hee hee)!!
**Don't forget to stop by the Copic Creations Blog HERE as well to see the DT's projects and join in on the fun as well! The prize this time is from Ellen Hutson! **

New Victoria Case "Winter Wonderland" Release Blog Hop
"Cookies & Cocoa"
New Victoria Case "Winter Wonderland" Release Blog Hop
"Cookies & Cocoa"
Next up is a second fun BLOG HOP for the new Victoria Case for SCACD "Winter Wonderland" release!! These adorable winter stamps will be available for purchase tomorrow, October 16th at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design! To start this blog hop you need to start at Susan's Blog HERE, if you've been hopping then your next hop is to Lorelie's Blog HERE! All of the DT gals are showcasing different stamps from the new release & they are "ANYTHING BUT A CARD" kinda projects (hope to inspire you for the holidays)!!
I used two of these cutie pie stamps to create a "Cookies & Cocoa" Gift Set for the holidays! Nothing better than dipping some yummy butter cookies in rich, hot chocolate--YUM! So the decorated pail holds cookies & the decorated packet holds hot chocolate (yes, I made one yesterday & I warned ya I would make more cuz' they're soooo fun)! All the dp is by DoveCraft and the cs is SU's "Night of Navy" and PTI's "Spring Rain".
I got these fun paint-like pails at Michaels (medium sized for $2 a piece--a steal) and knew I wanted to decorate them for Christmas. I used this fabulous new stamp called "Snow Fun" to create my main image & then stamped the snowflakes (which come as part of the entire stamp set)directly onto the pail w/ my white Palette Inkpad. I added 2 strips of navy cs around the top & bottom as well! The snow was made using Martha Stewart Snow Glitter, her furry boots & pom-pom have Sparkle Fluff in white on them which makes them sooo fuzzy to touch! And of course lots of stickles and some diamond glaze on her eyes and bottom of her boots.
I punched a couple of snowflakes out of cs with my punches, added a fun sentiment with my PTI set "Holiday Treats" and tied it all off with a pretty white bow.
This little package holds two packs of my favorite French Vanilla Hot Chocolate---if you want dimensions for this please see yesterday's post. These are super, super quick & easy to make up & so fun to decorate. A great gift to make for teachers, neighbors & friends for the holidays! This image is called "Cocoa Puff" (how perfect & cute huh?) and she was just calling out to be used for this hot cocoa package--how perfect. She's colored w/ Copics and then I added more MS Snow Glitter, stickles & some of my SnowWriter (by DecoArts) on top of the fence and LOTS more snowflakes.
This is what it looks like inside--I use Scor-Tape to adhere all the folds nice & tight and the packet closes with a pretty bow! A great gift to give & recieve--I'd love one of these for myself, LMBO!!! (now I have to go make myself some hot chocolate, hee hee)
Now make sure and continue on this "Winter Wonderland" Blog Hop by hopping over to Lorelie's blog HERE!
Whew, are ya tired yet---Keep on Hopping along for both Hops okay!!! You won't wanna miss all the fun I promise!
See ya back here tomorrow with another Victoria Case for SCACD project and NEW Pink Cat Studio Digi projects too!
hugz,
Suzanne
