So today I have a special project for ya!! I was asked by the very sweet Della who is owner of "I Brake For Stamps" to be on her Design Team starting this month--I was happy to accept! She has an amazing array of stamps in her store so you should stop by & check them all out--if you decide you want to buy some goodies use this special coupon code "SAVE10SUZANNE" to save 10% off of your order!! This coupon is good the entire time I'm on the DT so make sure & use it, 'kay!
I decided to use this fabulous collage stamp today called "Welcome Baby Collage"--i just love the elegant & vintage feel it has for a baby card! I stamped it with Versamark Dazzle & then embossed it in black--I haven't embossed anything in forevah I tell ya!! I decided to go with a lavender & black scheme, yes black, hee hee for a more elegant looking baby card. The lavender cs & dp are from PTI as is the matching ribbon (lavender moon)--such a soft color. I used my Bow Easy again to make that double bow & attached a lil' heart charm from my stash and some pearls to finish it off. I just love the way it turned out!
Alrighty I'm outta here for the day--I'll have one more post for ya tomorrow & then I'll be on a vacay from bloggin' until next Tuesday for the holiday!
hugz,
Suzanne

ReplyDeletegorgeous card!
Wonderful, wonderful card!♥
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the DT assignment at Della's! Nice! Will she get a DT blog as well now, don't think she's got one...?
I have three boys, and they're all sensitive like your Riley, but the eldest a bit more than his younger brothers. So, I worry about them, like all mothers do with their kids, I guess.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Aud
I love bows and watched your tutorial the other day. It is amazing how a bow can change a project!

ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne,

Thanks for stopping by my blog, it made my whole day. Your card as always is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us. Have a great day, Lisa G
Oh, I would LOVE to win a Bow Easy. I have so been battling with my bows, and it drives me nuts when they don't come out nicely. Love your blog, it's really inspiring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Such a different look for a baby card, may have to give this a try!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new DT assignment! I bet you'll breathe a sigh of relief after the 6th grade orientation is done today. I have 2 girls and each has a very different personality similar to your kids. As mothers, we worry before our kids see the light of day and I guess there's no end to our worrying. Everyday brings a new challenge but also a new joy. Beautiful card and how lovely of you to giveaway a Bow Easy. Hugs, Maria
ReplyDeleteReally nice card. You are so talented. I really like the bow. I notice bows everywhere now, ever since you mentioned the bow easy. Your video makes it look so easy. Thanks for doing all that you do. You are quite an inspiration. :)
ReplyDeleteWow...that is just gorgeous Suzanne!! I love it all and WooHoo on the DT position and thanks for the discount. Congratulations girl!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!! Bows are alway a problem for me (probably spend more time on bow than whole planning, making card) to have a Bow Easy would be awesome! Love your blog!!
ReplyDeleteThat card is totally adorable suzanne - I've been getting some yearnings to do some vintage work again - haven't done any in ages, got caught up with the 'cute' stamps for quite a while :0) Will be digging out my stash of vintage stamps while I'm organising and refubing my craft room (yipppeee!)

Very pretty card! Soft, yet pops nicely. The bow easy seems like a nifty little gadget. We all know how much we crafters love any new gadget, tool, etc! :)

Gorgeous card,Suzanne! I love that vintage look. I am so bow challenged, you wouldn't believe it! I so need a Bow Easy. Thanks for the chance to win one. Hope your son did fine at school.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!I love the color combination and the vintage look. Your video is great!
ReplyDeleteLove the pink and black on the card! Your video on bows makes it look so simple to get great looking bows. I could realllllly use a bow-easy, since my ribbon gets frazzled after being re-tied several times in an attempt for a decent looking bow. Thanks for the wonderful tutorials.
ReplyDeleteMarsha
Thank goodness for card makers like you! The tutorial is wonderful and your designs are gorgeous - each and every one of them! I can only hope to someday do such lovely cards. Thanks so much for sharing!

Fantastic card and that bow is like wow....Your kids sound so much like mine especialy Riley, my son is exactly the same and boy do I worry about him, He has just started high school and I was really worried, but he is loving it. He has taking this girl in his year who has an artificial leg under his wing as the older kids where giving her a hard time...I know who I would love to give a hard time too, but thats my son ever sensitive to the needs and feelings of others, we are so proud of him.
ReplyDeleteHave a great break.
