A Lil' Susy Birthday!!

Hiya friends & Welcome to Saturday! My room is slowly coming along, hubby is finishing putting up the ceiling fan w/ light (cuz' we get alot of sun in that room & its hot) and hanging shelves & the curtain rods today. I'll be busy touching up the trim and carrying all of my stuff (I have tooooo much stuff and why oh why do I think I ever need more, lol) and starting to organize--love that part! Will share pics this week if everything gets done (it bettah')! It's pretty darn hot here in VA still so I promised everyone we'd go to the pool on Sunday to cool off! Gotta have some fun & relaxation before I head out with the kids to go school shopping (along w/ some advil, hee hee)! Anywho, movin' on today...............

So today is the Copic Creations Challenge Blog and Susana's Custom Art & Card Design is the fabulous sponsor & today is also Susana's birthday (so give her a happy birthday shout)! For participating in this challenge HERE, Susana is GIVING AWAY A WHOLE NEW SET OF THE LIGHT COPIC MARKERS!! Now that's a prize, so make sure & take the time to enter!! The challenge this time is to use "reds & pinks"--easy peasy!

I got special permission from Susana to use a BRAND NEW stamp from the Victoria Case "Hearts & Hugz Collection #2" for SCACD which will be released next Friday(Aug.21st)!! Lemme' tell ya, these are just the cutest lil' images you'll evah' see! This stamp today is "Susy" & isn't she darling--I just love her face? I used "R27,R24,R22,R21,R20" on her pants & shoes! The dp is by My Mind's Eye and the sentiment is a Stampin' Up set. I added a fun lil heart charm that I bought from my friend Nikki's store HERE (her blog is Bunny-Zoe's)--she has a fabulous selection of charms (and of course I ordered a ton of them, hee hee)!

I put diamond stickles (if you only get one stickles in your life, make it diamond cuz' you can use it on EVERYTHING) on her shirt, hairbands & shoes and the entire card got a nice coat of Shimmerz Spritz in "baby's breath"! Her eyes have diamond glaze on them--I love to do that, makes them look so realistic! And isn't that bear so cute!!!
