I hadn't pulled out my Magnolia's in awhile and I just really loved this image of "Tilda with Key"--there are also some fun "Key" stamps that go well with this image and you can get them all at Magnolia-licious! I have had this paper from my old Recollections store (boohoo, now closed) for forevah! I just love the different colors and elegant pattern! I colored with my Copics (and for those that want to know what colors I used for her hair, I listed them below) and added Diamond Glaze on the key!
The edges were made with my Fiskars border punch, and that cool scroll/key punch (?not sure of the name) is one of the new slim-line punches by EK Success (got mine at Michaels, don't think they're for sale online yet). They are so easy to use on cs--I can punch them with one hand, amazing! The sentiment I made on my computer and stamped over it with my new PTI stamp set "Simply Stationary" very lightly. If you love pearls like me, I think Kaiser makes the best and in the most colors--you can find them HERE.
Just a closer view of cute lil' Tilda and the diamond glaze I added to her key! I used the following Copics to make her black hair: C9, C7, C3, C1, W5. I will tell you that coloring black hair w/o making it look like gray hair or flat and non-dimensional is very, very tricky! You really just have to practice until you get it how you like it!
Today is also Whatchadoin' Wednesday over on the SUINK blog! It wasn't my turn to create this week, although I will have a card tomorrow using some of the new Easter stamps. But be sure to stop by the blog to see my DT's sistah's projects!
Also, if you still would like to submit to become a Guest Designer for Susana's Custom Art & Card Design store you have until tomorrow nite at 11 pm to get your entries in. We'd love to have you try out and you can find all the details right HERE!
Off to finish my to-do list for today! See ya back here tomorrow!
hugz,
Suzanne

You're card is gorgeous. I love how you colored her hair. Yes, black hair is not something that I have mastered yet but you have given me inspiration to try again. I love how you used the border punches on your cardstock and really like how you angled them on the card. Clever idea. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talents with us! Have a great day!
