Final Blogaversary Candy!!

Hi all! Today is my final Blogaversary Candy for ya--my Anniversary week has come to an end, lol! I want to thank everyone for their sweet & loving comments--has really cheered me up & been really wonderful :o) And of course I've written down all your suggestions for tutorials and have been busy working on some. So tomorrow I will have a video tutorial of how to stamp & color w/ Copics on fabric!! YAY! No new projects today, just alot of info for ya!! And below I have answered a few questions for ya too---

**I've also created an Etsy shop where I will put most of my projects up for sale--link on my sidebar. If you are interested in the "Tea Gift Sets"-I will make them to order/custom**

And my answers to my nosy questions, LOL:

** Best birthday was last year--we were in Disney World for 10 days as a family, I got to have a wonderful lobster dinner at The Grand Floridian and watch the fireworks across the water at the Magic Kingdom with my hubby & kids! A dream come true of mine since I was a little girl to celebrate my birthday there even if I'm not so little anymore, LOL! Wonderful indeed!

**If I were to move anywhere in the world, it would be to Europe--probably Italy or Spain. Wonderful people, wonderful weather and I would love being able to travel around Europe on a whim! That's a real dream of mine, sigh....
*************************************************
I've also had a quite a few people ask about my schedule, how I get time to accomplish everything and make projects and be on so many DT's. Well, I can't say that I always have everything together (giggle) and sometimes things don't get done but I have a pretty good schedule that I try to keep to. And I'm type A, stubborn and have total crafting ADD--and I drink lots of Cherry Coke, LOL! But here is my schedule that I try to keep during the week:

6:30-8 am --feed pets, get kids off to school, shower
8-10:30 am--laundry, cleaning, running errands, appts
11-3 pm-- crafting/stamping (playing w/ doggies)--most days, but sometimes I do get out for lunch w/ friends or other appts, lol!
3-6 pm--kids get home, homework, activities & dinner for kids & pets
7-9 pm--eat dinner w/ hubby and catch up, put kids to bed
9-midnite--I do all my computer work in the evenings while watching tv with hubby (blogging, blurfing, emails, loading videos & pictures)

Weekends are generally family time, but I usually craft on Sunday for a few hours and do computer work in the evenings. But nothing magical or special, just that I'm anal about my schedule, great at multitasking & love working on many things, hee hee!
*******************************************
And my Top 10 Crafting Tools/Products I use & recommend (love 'em & use 'em everyday):
(1) Scor-Pal w/ Scor-Mat--I work on top of it & use it everyday
(2) Tonic 12x12 Guillotine Cutter--absolutely fabulous, never needs new blades, sharpens itself and can cut multiple sheets of cs (safe around kids too--blade does not cut hands/fingers)
(3) Diamond Glaze--can't do w/o it
(4) Cuttlebug--small but oh so worthy, crank it everyday!
(5) Nestabilities--best invention evah', love, love them! (ovals & circles are my fave)
(6) Copics--best investment I've ever made
(7) Stampin' Up paper snips--wonderfully sharp & easy to use
(8) Diamond Stickles & Angel Wingz Shimmerz--sheer enough to use on top of any color!
(9) Ott Light--couldn't take good pictures at night w/o it, great for evening work of any kind! Get them on sale at Joann's for 50% off & use a coupon--
(10) Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive (the only glue I use-get mine at Michaels), Pop-Dot dimensionals, Glue Dots, & Scor-Tape for all my adhesive needs!!

  1. Oh so yummy candy. This is a tough question as I have never really been anywhere except the town where I live. But I think I would have to move where there is still the 4 seasons but not such big changes in them like I have around here. Someone want to adopt me?

  8. Wow... Another amazing candy!!
I've linked to it here. :)

If I could move anywhere I wanted... I would buy that house not too far from here that I've been loving since I first saw it.
I'd love to move back to Ireland for a while, and I'd also love having an apartment in Paris, one in London... But that's not very realistic. *grins*
DH and I say we're gonna get a house boat some day, and just move whereever we feel like atm. That'd be pretty amazing!
But for now: the house. Love the house!

  13. You know, I don't know that I'd want to move. While where I live isn't the greatest city, it's what is home to me. As long as I have a roof over my head and I'm with my family, I probably could live anywhere. I wouldn't mind being closer to some of my family so I could see nieces and nephews grow up, though.

Thanks for this last chance to win some great candy.

  21. I'm with you about the whole Europe thing, but I would love to live in Germany. It's such a beautiful country! Or, to stay close to our families, here in the states I would love to move somewhere in the Northwest, Seattle or some little town up that aways. Thanks for the chance!! :o)

  22. Awesome candy!! Honestly, when I think about living somewhere else, I really can't think of anywhere else but where I live. We live in Charlotte, NC and we get to experience all of the seasons, and we have everything we need. I would like a bigger house, but wouldn't we all!!

Well - to answer your question - I would have to say Zürich again, since I had my best time ever living there for 2.5 years, but then Chicago would be an option too - since my best friend Barrie lives their with her cute family. 25. Hmm, there are so many places I'd love to live! Of the places I've actually been to; I would probably move back to Marquette, MI; it's a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I went to college up there and absolutely loved it. For a more exotic location, probably Hawaii. It's beautiful and I already have some friends who live there.

  27. Oh boy, that's difficult. I kind a love where I live. That's in Europe, the Netherlands. We have seasons, forest, sea, beach, everything in driving distance... ;-)

But it's a life on the fast lane, everything goes in fast forward, so if I would have the opportunity I would buy a lovely farm on Mallorca. In the middle of the island, but still close to the sea. Just to go and live there whenever I feel like, relaxing in the sunshine. But I would still want to have a house here as well. I'm just a typical dutch girl, body and soul. I need my small, flat country ...lol...

Thank you for inspiring me daily with all your amazing work. As to where I would like to live some day . . . I'd love to live in England. I was fortunate to travel there on a family vacation when I was younger and that was a trip I'll never forget. The people there are so friendly and kind and you can't beat the scenery.

  45. This is a subject we were talking about yesterday as a matter of fact. The weather in Missouri is so unpredictable and cold for 7 months out of the year. Since I have never been out of the US I would say Florida. I have been there a few times and just love the weather, being close to the ocean. That would be my pick for right now. If money was no object I think I would want to go to the Orient somewhere. I love their architecture and history but then if I did that there would be no time for crafting -- I would be too busy walking around with my mouth agape!!

  46. What a fab blog candy you have to offer and a nice way of offering it.

My all time favourite place to move to would for me be Florida. As I live in the UK I have been quite a few times and each time I visit it feels like my new home. I love the nice clean white beaches, the fantastic shops and of cause all the fabulous people who live there.

  79. Wow, what great blog candy. I loved reading your post especially the part about your schedule. I always wonder how other crafters accomplish it all. If I could live anywhere in the world I would probably want to be in Spain on the coast. I haven't had the chance to go there yet but from what I have heard it is just heaven. Congrats again on your success this past year. I can't wait to see what you will have to show us throughout the next year.

  84. Hmmmm...where would I want to live. I would want to live somewhere like Scotland or Ireland if I could choose out of the U.S. But if I chose somewhere here it would be a little bit harder. I've lived in the city my whole life and there's a big part of me that yearns to live in the country, with a wraparound porch, a couple of dogs, some horses, and a community that is really close and celebrates a holiday as a whole town. Just a dream...

The Midwest is awfully cold in winter and I'd like to find a place that was about 70 degrees all year around. Anybody know of any place like that? Thanks for the chance to win!

  126. Hi Suzanne,
I currently live in Sunny Southern California, but if I had a choice I would move to the Oregon Coast. The tidepools are amazing, you can see whales from the shore and the air is so clean. Even though the the towns are small, on my last visit there, I was able to find quite a lot of stamp and scrapbooking stores. Ask my sweet husband, I had a list of all the stores that I wanted to visit. LOL
